I will take some pix of the engine next time I am out at the barn where it is stored.
The body kit is a Wings West. I picked this kit for the clean non ricey look.

Nice and clean looking ride there. The wheels and exhaust
aren't my style, but it looks nice anyway.

I have always liked those alot! I almost bought a non-turbo for a daily driver, It ran very nice and quick with the stuff done to it, but couldn't pass Emissions in Washington where I thought I was moving to. Didn't move now I wish I had bought it...

Don't like the exhaust, or the wheels. You need a nice quality wheel on there.
Never been a fan of non turbo 300zxs. They aren't cheap to mod either...
LsX swap would be bad ***!
I call BS on you beating your buddies Mustang though.
Come on, V6, all stock with exhaust? My buddy runs his '00 GT with a shifter, DRs, ORX, Flow master catback, and pullies to a 13.90.
No ******' way that thing is even into the 14s.

My car doesn't just have a cat back. It has pullies and a HKS cold air intake. The stock 99 Mustang has 265hp he has pullies but its an auto. My car came stock with 222hp so the numbers are close. I always get better launches then him. So how can you call bullshit?

LOL, so you like my fart cans. They actually look better in person and they don't have that "ricer" sound. They are actually throaty. When we get some good weather I will make a vid of a fly by for everyone.

Nice car, after my 96 Procharged Z28 blew up I bought a 94 Z TT 5 spd, black/black and immediately did the JWT stage III "396hp" kit. Spent quite a bit of time on twinturbo.net as well.
The car was very nice (loved the suede dash material, etc), and great at high speeds, 150-160+, very stable.
Downsides... traction, and it is freaking HEAVY.
With the JWT stage III I went like 13.0 at 112 with a 2.3 60' time (this was about 10 years ago, one of my first trips to the track).
After that I had a Z mechanic in Opelika (adjacent to Auburn, AL) gut the cats and increase the boost 2 psi more than the standard boost jets that came with the Jim Wolf kit and noticed a very decent increase in power from the regular stage 3, but sold it before I went to the track again.
I'm also not totally sold on the fact of you beating a high 13 sec car with an N/A Z, your car should be quite a bit heavier than his IIRC, plus what do the N/A cars run, like 15's?
Also, I definitely think an LS1 is CRAZY-MUCH-CHEAPER to mod than a 300Z (once you get to the over 400rwhp level.
Getting to stage III is about $2k installed, right? then you need a clutch, then $1000 intercoolers and more boost to get to 400rwhp, then you need to start upgrading the turbos (and injectors) and they are way tucked away in that tight engine compartment, that stuff gets expensive real quick. With my 98 LS1 I did heads/cam/headers/spray and went 10.9 at 129, I don't think I could have come near that in a 300ZTT for the mod money I had in the LS1.

It is actually the 350Z blue but I had extra pearl added to the paint.
And your stage 3 tt should have had a faster time then 13's considering it was a 13 second car from the factory. Like I said my cousins stang is a auto. I get better launches then he does. Plus I have sticker tires then he does.

Also, you seem to be equating a 13.0 run with a 13.9 run of a stock car... "should have had a faster time then 13's considering it was a 13 second car from the factory". Hmm, I guess the concept of needing an extra ~100hp to shave .9 sec off your 1/4 mile time of a 4,000# car is a little difficult for you to understand (mine actually weighed more with the $5,000 worth of stereo that I added).
Have you run either of your cars at the drag strip or on a dyno? He's got an auto, should be pretty easy to properly brake torque off the line, even if you have "sticker tires" (they still have the stickers on them?)
There are several posts on tt.net about stock n/a cars running mid to high 15's and low 16's stock, you have some bolt ons but not 100+hp worth http://www.twinturbo.net/net/viewmsg...ana%3a%3a1%2f4
Just giving you a little bit of a hard time, I do think your car is nice, but just don't believe it would ever outrun even a mid 14 second car.
Post some pics when your TT gets here since it is "on the way".
