Pics of my fun-filled week (no 56k plz)
1st we'll start off with some before
and after
I think it turned out good.
Motor mounts
old mount
Drilled the rivets out of the claim shell.
Big difference! Old tranny out
Driver side installed. Didn’t remove the alternator
Passenger side installed. I unhooked the battery and took down the starter for this one. Didn’t touch the AC compressor
Headers
I must say that these headers are of higher quality than I expected. Coated Pacesetter race style LT's
I had to jack the car up pretty high, but after that it went in no problems. I didn’t even break a plug!
Top view passenger. Showing off the new Z06 plug wires...hehe.
Driver side
Very nice fit. New tranny in
took me about 3 days working alone. Everything went pretty smooth. Thanks for looking

cool man, looks like you had alot of fun! are those UMI 3pt SFC's there? if they are just curious what you hink of them? imma order them today, but just curious what you have to say about them. i was really surprized myself when i used to have Pacesetter LT's. for the cost of them, there really nice headers. i heard that Poly motor mount install was pretty tough, what do you think? i need to get some for my car pretty soon. my motor is rockin and rollin under the hood. did you get those poly mounts from autozone/advanced or did you get them at one of our sponcers? they look nice. anyhow, looks good man, nice car. im sure youll be contint with your new mods for atleast afew months untill you want MORE!!

The motor mounts were testing to say the least. As you can see i did it without the old exhaust manafolds or headers in the car. That made it a TON easier. Once you get the old mount out of the car, its pretty simple to drill out the rivets. I got the prothane mouts from LS1speed.com. They also made the car feel solid.
