C6 Z06 vs 02 Z06

Believe it or not, I didn't buy this car to race it lol
I never really planned on modding it when I bought it, and races like this pull me in two directions. On one hand, I wanna say "Damn, there are faster cars out there....and if I just added another 50 - 100rwhp I'd be almost unstoppable" Then the other part of me says "Wow, it takes ALLLLL these mods just to beat my car stock.....I'm perfectly happy with that"
I probably can't keep it completely bone stock, and I'm not quite sure what I WILL do with it. Right now, I'm thinking CAI, headers, and tune. I'm going to wait a while before I do anything though, because this engine is so new right now. It's still in the "guinea pig" stages of aftermarket add ons.

I made the video, and was the camera man in the C6 Z. That C5 suprised the hell out of us.
From 60 MPH, 2nd gear (1st goes to ~55mph) is where the C5 Z should have started at, IF he could hook. But with those temperatures, that wasn't going to happen. Will get some more vid once it gets warmer.
He says he dyno'd 614 RWHP on pump gas and 10.5 PSI and 648 RWHP on race gas at 12.5 PSI. He says it's the Stage II package; those #'s seem pretty damn high for the Stage II. I've heard that Lingenfelter really under-rates their packages though.
Also, the '04 H/C C5Z that I was racing at the end, runs dead even with the C6Z. So I was doing better, but still had a bit of slip; I think I ruined my belt running the C6Z in the first video I posted here a few weeks ago; I just haven't gotten around to changing it. Will be getting a new one tomorrow.
BTW, we just race for *****, don't really care who wins or loses, it's all in fun.
