Side-by-side 8-second Corvettes...Z06 wins We had our first Pro 8 Shootout on March 18 which is a heads-up drag race series.
In this very exciting final, Paul Ziajski, black 346 cubic inch twin turbo was up against Angelo Valla in the 1972 big block nitrous fed motor. If you watch the boards, the C3 was quicker but lost due to the Z getting out on him at the tree. Great video.

Hole shot. The Z was .046. the C3 was .4 something. you can tell when the Z leaves the line before him. Shame to be so quick and lose on a light. We will see more of these two this year as they battle for the Championship in a 5-race sereies

BTW: It looked like that Z06 lifted the wheels

Yup the Z did bet the wheels and and good. It is backhalved with work done by Neverlift Racecraft. The C3 has stuggled with getting his entire package to work. This year looks like the car issues are resolved and he can focus on his trees now.

i was at etown the other week and i saw pauls vette run, its a complete beast, ran like a 8.6-8.7 i believe, amazing launch, just an amazing car. appears bone stock, aside from the slicks

Pauls car is straight to insane. Looks awesome in person! He only lives about 5 mins from me. Everytime I see it i'm drueling haha. Your's looks awesome as well Red! With all these quick Vettes around i'm i'm getting nervous to leave the driveway anymore.
