Default Stolen Impala SS running from OK cops

I know that this guy is a jerk and deserves to go to jail but he worked that Impala SS. Oh well. LT1s are slow anyway.

You know its a good police chase when the helicopter can't even keep up.

Imagine if he had a Porsche 911 turbo or a Murcielago or the like... It would have been an even worse walking than that.

I wonder if he just finally gave up or ran out of gas.

I would like to see a real HIGH SPEED chase. Like with a Ferrari or Lambo. Kinda like in transporter 2 where he passes the high speed chase in progress.

Define a REAL high speed chase? If a helicopter has trouble keeping up with ANY car I would consider it a HIGH SPEED chase. If it was a 2002 SS would you be saying that?

LT1s get no respect.

That video is a classic. The story was he either gave up or got hit by stop sticks.

LT1's are slow?? They might be slower but they hold the heat running from the cops

Actually the story ive heard was that its a NEW impala with the V-8's in them not a LT1, and that he ran out of gas.

I bet if he was running in a Lambo or Ferrari or something similar he wouldn't have made it as far. He would have either spun out and gotten nailed by a cruiser or crashed really bad when he hit a pothole/bump at 200mph.

Great chase, glad they caught the bastard. I have driven those roads and all of them are not that nice. I agree with the Lambo or Ferrari running and hitting a bump. At speed one of those cars would end up bottoming out.

I was by no means disrespecting LT1's. My first f-body was a 94 Z and i loved that car to death, Even after 3 opti changes in 2 years.

Man, any of you guys read the comments on that video? Christ I couldn't take any more of the ricers who literally talk about "FWD owns RWD any day of the week", etc etc etc.

It's truely amazing how many idiots are out there and how some are so ******* utterly retarded.

This video has been around for years, it is not a newer Impala. It is a 94-96 B-Body with an LT1.

1. There is no way to mistake the 94-96 B body for the FWD junk they make today.
2. No way a V6 could have that kind of pull at those high speeds.

You can get a V8 in the new Impalas, same with the Monte Carlo and Grand Prix GXP. It's time to climb out from under your rock.

Bad, but cool....

I'd like to see a Ls1 run from the cops....

Or a new Z06...

Or a Buggati Veyron...

Kind of stupid to run from cops with just a stolen car...?
