Hey Jim - The Mickey's are actually doing great. I heard that they don't last all that
long on the street. I'm very happy with them. However, I did get caught in a rain
storm on the way back from the track. The rear end kicked out about 5ft to the left
during the ride home while on the highway. That was an eye opener.

Just pics I've posted before. I need to spend some time cleaning it up. I'll get some
pics up today or tomorrow.

Thanks.

Actually, it feels really slow to me. I need another 200rwhp I think.

Absolutely correct. My limiter is right at 7K rpm. As I mentioned previously, I haven't
really sprayed the KB a whole lot so I don't have all the details worked out yet.
I didn't do any of the gearing / tire height calculations yet. A 28" tire will definitely
be required though. If needed, I'll drop back down to a 3.55 gear. The car sits very
low so I might have to through some different springs on in order to get a 28" tire
to fit.

What tire height though? I guess I should quit being lazy and do the math.

I would think you'll be very close to 130mph on a 150 shot. There's only
one way to find out.
I will have to get back to you and let you know how it all goes!

However, I too have my car lowered very low, and I may need to put different springs on it if I go with a taller tire! I run BFG's on 315x35x17 (ZR1's) when I race and I have the stock 18's when I'm just cruising.

I have been thinking of swapping the BFG's for some ET streets and some 16" drag rims...........we'll see where the spray gets me first!

keep us posted on the progress of your ride. I love the look.

Werd.

They will be 'a better deal' over the next couple years though IMO when you can get them much cheaper...wouldn't mind having one as an addition to the stable in a few years.

My interest is still peaked with the new Camaro. I doubt I'll ever buy
another Mustang unless Ford unveils something incredible. The GT500
is far from incredible IMO.

That is a baddass car!!

I am looking at a yellow 04 coupe wit the same mods plus some more!

Its a 04 Screaming Yellow Cobra 7300 miles on it..
Interior: Pretty much stock, does have a boost gauge and a MGW shifter (red version)
Exterior: all stock look....
Motor: Has a brand new Modular Performance built short block (300 miles on it...) Diamond pistons ETC... Its the Terminator SB on there website for details..Does also have a Canton oilpan and windage tray
Has a KB 2.2 with a 15lb upper a 6 lb lower..... Metco lower.....
60lb injectors, SCT mass, K&N Airfilter, Accufab TB. Also has a BAP with the upgraded wiring kit on it......
IT also has a Dynotune Dry nitrous kit installed with a 100 shot, with a WOt switch and a Window switch, and a arming switch just to be safe...
Kooks Longtubes with a Kooks X-pipe, and a Magnaflow CB...
Level 2 Upgraded halfshafts, IRS brace, welded in Subframe connectors..
Clutch is a brand new Spec 3+ with a spec flywheel..... Clutch has about 200 miles on it...
Has a LFP Heat exchanger
Yellow top battery
Car laid down 675 and 742 with the shot... It sees about 18 lbs of boost and builds to around 20-21 depending on air at the end ....

should know by next week!

Sweet car.
Expecting 140mph in the 1/4!?
Good Luck.
My guess, 133.
135 would make me real happy and proud.

How much boost did you run to make that 640rwhp #. 21,22?
Are you running a stock motor still?
Nice car but I think going anywhere near 140mph in the 1/4 isnt happening.

Come over on svtsnake.com we have a few guys in the mid, low 10s trying to hit 135mph.

Again sweet car..

-Ex cobra owner.

It'll do that on blower only as it sits.

Picking up 2mph with a 75-100shot of nitrous would be disappointing to
say the least.

It was 620rwhp, not 640...19psi.

We'll see. I believe I said 138-140mph. Picking up 5 to 8mph isn't out of
the question with a big shot of nitrous. 140mph might be stretching it, but
it's a good number to shoot for. High 130's on the sauce shouldn't be a
problem.

Nope...I'm a member of too many damned message boards anyway.
I already have the mph for low 10's.

Good question. The Kenne Bell blowers tend to spray oil. If you look closely,
there is a custom oil spray tank mounted on the blower just behind the
passenger side fuel rail.

$$$ is going towards other things in the next year. However, I'm planning
some weight reduction mods, fuel system upgrades, possibly a few more
pounds of boost, a new clutch/flywheel, a trunk mounted ice box, and
a few engine bay appearance mods. Nothing crazy really.
