This is a new rendering, and MUCH more preferred that the Infiniti based, 350Z looking like thing.
Thats why the thread is called, "New Concept"
I think I rememer seeing ^ than one about a year ago. There is no way that car will see production, when so many prefer the new Concept. Its just not going to happen.

That is the one shown on their website. And w/ them saying it's a go for 2007 I can't see a manufacture changing that much in design. Not saying your wrong though...

The 500hp Z-tune skyline is a limited run, and they cost a good 180k. For the Z-tune, Nissan rebuilt used skylines and just did everything imagineable to them.
You really can't compare the Z-tune to the z06, well you could but then the z06 is still cheaper making more power and wieghing less.. There were only 10 or 20 of those Z-tunes made.
My fave is the r32 GTR, lightest and best looking GTR, IMO. But, all of the local ricers are going crazy talking about how the GTR is finally coming over to the states.

Here's the latest most up to date info on the GT-R that's available. I have it in the link for you below. It will be a V6 VQ motor with a TT setup with the "Smart All Wheel Drive" System which will allow you to put the torque 100% to the rear wheels if you want! That's pretty cool if you ask me. Check it out though with the pictures of what it will look like for sure. That pic. in the begining of this thread is a photochop that some guy did a long time ago.

Whatever the cost, skylines have been pretty neat cars. IMO they are far from rice. Rice can be a combo of using a rusted econo-turd, stickers, horrible bodykits etc. The R3X skylines were designed from the factory with performance in mind. I personally look foreward to seeing them on sale here. And I doubt we'll see the local rice club with them, I expect to see working professionals driving them...and I doubt they will become sticker happy.

For the guys saying its overrated I'm sure you all have never been in one. I've been driving my brothers for the last 2 days (R33) its an amazing car! The handling is just unreal! I've never felt so comfortable going through corners in my life, its almost as if the car gives you a roller coster mind set, as if you are on rails and don't have to worry about coming off - which can be a bad thing :-) seats are too tight for me but other than that its underated if anything....
