July picture entry thread
I wish people knew that these threads aren't just for throwing up every single pic you have of your car. Most understand this, but others don't.
Sure, I have tons of pics of my cars, but I know they're not all the best so I don't put them up all up here.People should only be putting up their pics if they're very high quality, taken with a good camera, and look as if they should have been involved in the Camaro/Trans Am advertising campaign.
Not trying to shoot anyone in particular down here, but it just seems that these threads are always filled with crappy pictures from anyone and everyone who feels the need to ***** their car out.

Thats why I am not going to enter anymore. I can't compete with the pics I see in here, my best shot wouldn't hold up at all in here. Thats due to haveing just a point and shoot though, haven't found the resources to get a SLR....yet.
The Best V8 Stories One Small Block at Time

True, but I can't get any new ones of mine...due to the pile of crap not wanting to hold paint. I have tried my best ones on here already, so I have to wait to get new ones to try.
I thought that winning photo was a high quality one shrunk down and then tweaked only to find out it was from a point and shoot. He used some tricks to tweak it up. It's very impressive.
Here's my first entry. It's a little experimental with the colors and all.

I really need some input here.
First, I think I was too close to the car. I need to get further away.
I probably should have cropped it more 16x9 ratio instead of square shaped.
The background is plain and boring. I need to find some scenic background.
Maybe put some sky in there, huh?
Maybe I'm looking at it all wrong. First find a scenic background and then throw the car in as an afterthought. That might work.
