Default 02 WS6 M6. First track passes after the heads/cam.

I went to the track this past tues night to get a good feel for the car with the new mods. I am still on the 10 bolt, it does have 4.10s though, and the tires were SLICK Nittos, I am talking ZERO tread, can't even tell what the tread pattern USED to look like, they look like slicks. Anyhow, so the 60ft is decent at best....1.88.

The 2nd vid posted was just cause it was later on that nite, and although I spun the launch, I was getting a better feel for the car and the shifts were faster.

FYI, this was NOT powershifting, I just back off the throttle 100%, shift, back on it as fast as I can while making sure it's in the next gear (speed shifting)

121mph traps, strong car man. Good old Beech Bend. Do I spy true duals and Flowmaster 1-chambers under there? I know you were talking about it at dyno day. I still need to get a pair myself. These Spiral Flows are nice but nothing on the 1-chambers.

You are correct my man! I put them on this past fri nite, one week ago today. I did some more tweaking on them the day after the track, and I have them all tucked up nice and high, they were LOW on that night

Yeah, the sound they emit is insane, I have never been as happy with how my car sounds as I am now. It sounds great at all rpms and any throttle postion. I sense an increase in power under the curve as well

Naw, shift-lite comes on at 6600, limiter at 6800. I cross the line a lil before the lite illuminates IIRC. Now when I break out the juice, that'll be a different story.....

BTW, if you listen you can hear all 3 chirps from the 1-2, 2-3, and 3-4 shifts.

WOW, nice runs man !!! Sounds really good as well. I've been to that track before, when I went to the fbody event in 2003, that track was hooking up like crazy. Glad to see you have a nice track near you, unlike our local track....their idea of track prep is spilling a pepsi on the first 60' and saying " that'll get sticky ".

I ALWAYS burnout in the water. The reason I spun is because this was later in the nite, the dew was falling, the track was cooling off, and I tried to launch harder looking to drop the 60ft times and beat the 11.7 pass.

I only posted this botched run cause I liked the different view and how I shifted the car on this pass vs the other. I also made some other passes to back up the 11.78 run....like a 11.80 right after the 11.78.

Next time roll around the water , back up into it , roll forward to dry pavement and do your burnout . You were coating your inner fenders with the water and it may have been dripping onto your tires when you were staged. other than that great runs .

That's exactly what I do, I don't drive through it. But I DO do it in the water cause of the pussyass 10 bolt. It just shocks the hell out of it if I don't do it in the water. I always roll out of it still spinning to make sure they are nice and dry though.

But you may be right, water could be dripping some. But I will live with that for now cause I don't want to shock that rear any more than I already am.
