The lt1 is just a bolt on car with hooker lt's and open ory

I certainly wasn't trying to bust your *****. I've driven an old 4 speed chevelle, and the shifter is way tougher than our borg-warner and tremec internal rail shifted trannys. That external linkage requires a lot more attention to detail to get all the stars and planets to align for perfect shifts like that.

They can be pro-shifted too, but it's not a common mod.

I've seen his car run in person. all i can say is holy ****. It pulled a helluva wheel stand at Commerce back in September.

Nice I think I need to cut my pro 5.0 stick a tad more and ditch the hurst leather **** for a ball. What do you guys use for speed shifting as far as *****?

I'm in the EXACT same boat as you... I want just a straight up ball for a shifter, i heard the hurst ball shift ***** transfer a lot of vibration and tranny noise through it and it can get annoying and they crack easy, i'm thinkin about going with an MBA shift ball. Maybe a bowtie one.
