Default Accident Pics... Hit by a Semi

Click for larger image

I was in the second lane from the curb, there was a semi in the curb lane that I thought was turning left, but apparently he decided to turn right to go into the gravel yard on the totally opposite side of the road and pushed me across 3 lanes and up the curb. The car is totalled, but I'm fine, which is all that matters to me. It can be replaced.

I must say, the car looks (and is) very bad, (over $20K in damage) but that door bar did what it was meant to do and did not budge. There were scrapes in it, but that and the airbags are I think what saved me! GM did a good job with the safety of the car for sure.

Damnit Jim! That totally sucks. I will continue to break every speed law to put distance between me and OTR truckers when I'm on the road… and that's why.

Glad you're okay man.

Dan told me about this Rick. Sorry to see that. I'm glad you're ok.
That's all that really matters. Cars can be replaced.

Are you going to pull the heads off or just have insurance cover the mods
using receipts? Are you going to buy another car?

Man... sorry to hear about that! It was such a gorgeous car! Just a car, though, as you said. All that matters is that you're ok!

glad your ok, that looks like you got lucky too.

I have some accident pics too, I was hit by a Plymouth Sundace that was going 100mph, the guy was drunk and blew through a stop sign, he died instantly, my cousin was my passenger, his foot was crushed, and I broke my left wrist and hit both knees on the dash really hard, and this was the same day that I picked up a wrecked '00 WS6 T/A with a LS6 H/C/I and 6 speed that I was going to swap into my '94 Firebird
