some guy posted this on mustang forums to show an ls1 can lose to an 05/06 stang and he wanted to post it here to see what kind of excuses us ls1techers would say to back up the camaro. but he cant do it because unit banned him a while ago

I quess I'll be the first to defend that Camaro. The Camaro driver felt bad for the Mustang driver so he let him win.

thats a nice looking stang, and im not here to argue back and forth, my car ran 13.3 stock,i believe thats what that stang ran and yes mustangs can beat camaros, but so can pintos with a built v8, i mean to say an ls1 can lose to an 05/06 stang is kinda broad but like i said jus giving my .02

It looked as tho the camaro was spinning off the line, and was stock so there for the stang with a good set of boltons beat it.

 

Well at the track things like RT are factored in, and it looked like the mustang got a good jump. It says he only went 103, but I wonder what the Camaro traped.

 

Looked like the camaro was sleeping on the tree. Stang seemed kinda quick though i guess.13.3 is kinda shitty for a bolt on car though.

 

Well there we have it, mustangs are faster than Camaro's. That video proves it.

They can't though since my stock A4 car went 13.40 @ 105.7.

lol, i posted my vid of my car doing a 13.39 @ 107 stock, so i guess the stang is still faster than me, but like i said, my car was stock

Oh that's right Chevy hasn't manufactured a Camaro for what 4yrs? Wake up Chevy, Ford still makes a Pony car. Bolt on or not 281 cubes and an auto at that ! I love the Ls1 but Chevy needs to wake up.

 

103 mph? LMAO Mine did better than that stock... Like 2 to 3 mph more.

Sorry that made me laugh. Seems like everyone defending mustangs always comes up with that as an excuse. My car ran a 106mph in the middle of the summer at 2800 ft altitude with a 5500ft DA bone stock (345hp edition lid/catback). I will admit tho, before I bougth this car I was considering a mustang so I do not have anything against them. Glad I chose this one tho .

 

i'm not exactly sure when running a 13 became something to be proud of, but personally i think the new mustangs suck so it'd be fine by me if that camaro stomped all over that little pansy stang.

 

lol thats marginally faster than my 6-speed LT1 with exhuast and roller rocker's that i cant launch for ****, and i would still be catching up to him on the big end (trap at 104.5), i guess its decent but its nothing to rave about
