oh BTW, that does not include SENTIMENTAL value...if you incorporate that cost, youre looking at about $100K plus in mods...both emotional and mechanical haha
I LOVE this car

Default Vids!

*UPDATE*
Alright guys...well I buttoned her up...oiled her down, filled the bitch *** radiator (it cut me bad, I hate it) and turned the key....

Oil pressure immediately jumped to 70 PSI, so that was a relief. Fuel rail pressure was right about 60 PSI. Water temp rose steadily and stopped right about 190...
There was quite a bit of smoke, and since I ran open headers, the exhaust fumes were choking me out...but that got a little better...

I saw coolant leaking and my heart dropped, then I looked a little closer, DOH, forgot to clamp a radiator hose haha...

As you can see in the vid, eveything seems to be working just fine, no leaks, nothing...

Now, I do have a few questions..

She really did not want to idle at all for a while, I had to turn the engine over quite a bit and FINALLY it would somewhat start, then go with a blip of gas...is this normal?

Eventually once it got warmer it idled just fine (but I did set the TB open a bit with the idle screw)

Are all of these symptoms normal? Doesnt want to idle on its own very well...smoke, ETC

Thanks guys

VIDEOS: (sorry about soud quality at times..it was LOUD AS ****, OPEN HEADERS)

FIRST START, BONE COLD, SAT FOR 2 MONTHS

WARM IDLE

Sounds absolutely amazing I'm sure you'll be very pleased with the way she drives now As for the idle not wanting to hold did you by chance drill a hole in the TB? If so you may need to go slightly bigger, mine idles much more steadily on first startup and I have a small hole.

i bought the intake and TB used, so a hole had already been drilled, its small though...i figured id use the idle screw instead of drilling-- that is what it is for ya know...it ran like a top...the rpms do need to be raised just a tad, but I figure the tuner will take care of all of that...

other than that, I am VERY happy...its very satisfying to knwo that it was all done in my garage...

All thanks goes out to everyone on this site who helped...

The next step now is to get the brakes bled (i dont feel like doing it) and get her tuned...once I get a tune and dyno #'s I will post in the dyno section...

then track then boom goes the rear hahahah

thanks guys

Man, if I could get my wife to do that kind of stuff with me, it would take our relationship to a "HO NUVA LEVEL"! Sweet setup dude. I can't wait to see your numbers.
