it understandable feeling like all car companies have issues. And its very true. However, the V is plagued by the bean counters. His is not the only one. trust me. Go to cadillacforums if you wish, you'll see.
I had mine for about 10 months until i called it quites. I agree with this guy that its a great car, fun to drve a 6spd caddy... if only the shifter didn't literally play (move) about 3 inches left and right in or out of gear. Or the rear end dropping on ya... i had two replaced in those 10 months. Also had clutch problems, wheelhop that is uncureable. Then GM released bushing to "cure" the wheelhop (it didn't) while squeaking like mad. Go and try to have you service department grease them up for ya and i quote
"its not something that came with the car and well, my manager didn't feel like it was something we covered under warranty. -Jaime @ Vera
Its a GM part, but nope, no help there. Whatever, its a great car but if you are on this board, then i assume that its a car that will drive you crazy. If you normally drive a 3-series and do it for the looks or a 350Z, well, you found your cadillac, if you can stand the 6spd that is....
enough rant... old news!!

its been said already and its true. every manufacturer has problems like this. german, japan doesnt matter. sucks that he is having trouble with it and if that dealership is giving him grief about it he needs to go past the dealership and talk with a gm/cadilac rep.
