My Z28 Got smashed. Literally!!!

My Z28 Got smashed. Literally!!! I know this is probibly the wrong forum, but I thought I would share my experince today. I also have it posted in the Body and paint section.
I was pulling onto 264 in virginia beach Va. I was following a friend of mine in his SS. As we pulled on the interstate off of Rosemont there was a few open lanes of traffic so we merged to the outside HOV lane. He was hauling ***, so I speed up to catch up. I was going about 80 and as soon as I got about 50 yards behind him a guy in an F-250 Decided to cut me off. I slammed on my brakes so I would not end up under him, and my brakes locked up completely, I spun out before I knew it doing 2 complete 360's and as I was facing on coming traffic still spinning I got hit by a 99 honda two door. Witch then spun me out one more time before I came to a complete stop. The pictures show the damage, witch was worse, but I pulled the bumper back out on the Passenger side tire whale. In order to drive it home. My buddy that was in the passenger seat has it on video, And you can see the guy cut me off. As soon as I get the video witch is not the best, I will post it. And as is it goes I end up getting a ticket for Reckless driving Failur to control vehicle. What kinda bullshit is that... THat should be a nice hefty fine. I even showed the cop the video that we were not racing or anything.
But what I was wondering was, how much do you think this will cost to fix?? It was mainly cosmetic, as far as I can see.
So for you auto Body people please chime in so I can see what to expect from it.

probably a grand or two, its not cheap, if you want it done right. I have a friend who has an SS and hit a deer which did pretty much the same damage + a headlight and it cost 2k to fix.
quick question......why was your friend rolling tape if you werent racing or anything? im not saying you were, just weird that he was doing it at the time. if its not incriminating, id bring it to court and fight the tickets. for a pig to blame YOU when you got cut off, and the guy in the truck gets off scott free is bullshit. bring your evidence and dont let them get any money or points out of you.

Dude, that sucks ***!!! Now you've got heads,cam,verter on it's way and now you have to deal with this crap? Timing couldn't be worse! So how can he give you a ticket just b/c you slammed on your brakes after getting cut off?! It's not your fault you got cut off and then spun out. Stupid cops. Thats what I am hopping. My buddy is going to go get the video right now. So I am going to put it on here for you guys to see for you selvs in an hour or so.

i saw the vid on another post,if you show it in court,dont use sound cause it sounds like your moving good in it,if it doesnt have sound its hard to tell you punching it.
in georgia that would go down as your fault. you changed lanes way too fast, looks like you were speeding a good bit, and the main thing is you are young and in a sports car so that automatically puts you at fault in the eyes of any judge.

I dont believe the film is incriminating but you need to know your rights I feel as though if your speedometer isnt shown they have no idea how fast you were going . Besides I never knew there was a Law for changing Lanes to Fast.
