Default 2007 Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring

I just got back from the event. C6-r sound like sex.

I took too many pics to post them on here so I just made a gallery on my website. link

My father was raised in that area and he used to go to the races when he was younger. He was telling me something about that hairpin corner before the straight there at the pits... at the time when he had his 78' TA you could get out on that part of the track due to some road or something, and the best he could ever do in his car around that was like 35 or something... and the Audi's are hitting it at more than double that. I can't even imagine.

Yeah I would love to go sometime. How did the Audi desiel motor motors sound. They have seemed to do well so far, I believe they won Daytona didn't they?

Oh and those vette's are why I would love to get a yellow C5 and put an aluminum wing on it. I think those things are pure sex. The C6 doesn't quite look the same with the wing as the C5 did, but it still sets it off, IMO. ( I know I am going to get flamed for that, firesuit on)

Wow... thats neat. Audi's have always been on the fore front of technology when it comes to that series. I remember a few years back at Seabring, or maybe Le Man's but they had some sort of issue in the back half of the car and they completely replaced the back half in like 12 minutes and lever lost a position! I was really amazed with that.

It was loud; not as loud as the c6-r or the panoz though.

Yeah, it was cool watching 3/4 million dollar cars bumping and rubbing FTW. If only F1 could have finishes that close after 1.5 hours of racing, let alone 12 hours worth!!!
The C6Rs are sick, but we need some domestic/GM engined rides in LMP1 & 2 to root for against the Teuton and Nippon teams.

Gotta love that Arctic White C6.R, another 1-2 finish for the corvette racing team WOHOOO! I hope they wipe the floor with the competition again this year.

Yeah, I remember the Caddies. I guess you're right. GM should just concentrate all of the available funds/effort into keeping the C6Rs at the top of the GT1 field. Actually, it makes better sense from an advertising/marketing/bragging rights viewpoint, as it at least looks like a "win on Sunday, sell on Monday" street car.
