cuz i went up to 3" without a muffler or cat and i was getting pulled over SOOOO much cuz it was loud as ****
i wanted to quiet it down alittle and the tone of it with the muffler actually doesnt sound that bad... and with a big turbo, the exhaust note changes too, i had straight pipe for a while, but it was just TOO much

its all about what you can afford... i had 20 grand to spend on a brand new, or slightly used car, and i didnt want to buy a car and make payments, and it was the fastest thing for 20 grand brand new, haha
thats why i bought it... but i love muscle as well, its my secret love, haha
