Try it at a slow speed, 25 mph or so, then at the highway speed. The faster you are going, the harder it is to keep your hand from being pulled back when it is facing forward. But notice how little the speed of the car affects the difference in pull when it is flat to the ground.
And 400 lbs is a huge difference, probably close to, if not a half second in the quarter mile. That's quite a few car lengths.
