What i love about the video is when your walking in front of the Z and about to walk along the side there is a reflection of light going across the car. And it looks bad ***, because it looks like the car is changing from a lighter blue to a darker blue. Fast Z, expected more from the 5.4 Mustang.

nice kills, but you'll forgive me for wondering how you pulled away from a mustang that has almost 100rwhp more then you do like he was a stock gt.

A 2003 Z06 should be trapping at least 115 with a driver like that I would think, possibly a little more. Assuming full weight, that 420rwhp Mustang could be trapping anywhere from, I don't know, 110 to 120 depending on a lot of things, especially the driver. Weight and aerodynamics make a HUGE difference as well, and the Vette has a HUGE advantage in both regards.

Awesome kills!

i know aerodynamics and what not play into it. but i'm sure they weren't starting at a speed in which the aerodynamics played a giant roll. he had a car or so on the stang before he even pulled a gear. just made me wonder a little bit is all.

I know you're not calling BS or anything, I was just saying they play a big part . But actually, the faster you go, the more aerodynamics will affect your car.

Think about it this way, the next time you are driving down the highway at 70 mph, stick your hand out the window so that your hand is flat to the ground. Take notice of the resistance you get. Then, twist your hand up 90 degrees so that the palm of your hand is facing towards the front of your car. Your hand will get pulled back very hard. Try it at a slow speed, 25 mph or so, then at the highway speed. The faster you are going, the harder it is to keep your hand from being pulled back when it is facing forward. But notice how little the speed of the car affects the difference in pull when it is flat to the ground.

And 400 lbs is a huge difference, probably close to, if not a half second in the quarter mile. That's quite a few car lengths.

He did pull VERY hard, though. I see your point.
