That's the dumbest ******* thing I've heard! Dropping a bike does NOT come with the territory!! It's how you ride and the ability of the rider. I've never been down and have been riding for 20+ years. And, trust me, I ride hard!! Ever think why you've been down multiple times already? Idiot. Guy's like you give the sportbikers a bad rap. Starting off riding should be on something controllable; not a 'Busa, R1, or ZX10. These bikes are far to powerful for someone with no experience (think about that dick, Rich on Pinks!!! ). Can people do it? Sure. Is it recommended? Most people would say no. Gain your experience on something that you have more control over.

OK - I'm done[/QUOTE]

Dude your a ******* idiot if you ride agressively enentualy your going to go down you may not go down hard but you will go down. Bring your bike to a track day here in cali and we will see how so very hard you can ride the vfr since you ride so hard. I bet you have a set of saddle bags for that thing to. Go get a harley and shut your mouth.

20+ years of riding and never been down. How many times have you????? DeDeDee....

And saddle bags?!?!?! F**K YOU!! I don't need luggage when I ride. Oh, and a track day? Sure, Texas World Speedway is only an hour away. No problem. I'll ride the VFR or my wife's SV650S on track days. Oh, and it's aggressively 'tard. Must have hit your head one too many times going down, I guess.

Nice bike, be careful. Once i finish school and get a better job i'll be buying a bike.

Why are people being dicks? I don't even ride a bike and i can see that some of your logic is amazingly retarded.

First just because he owns a busa as a first bike and doesn't do track days does not in anyway mean he doens't know what he's doing.
That's just being a negative Nancy and assuming the worst.

And before i keep going, did anyone stop to realize and read this?

My unit is deploying in a couple months and **** has been crazy down here trying to cram **** in to get ready to go. The only chance I get to ride is a little bit on saturday afternoons.
Have some respect for him and our military.
It's people like him who regardless of what his job is, put forth their personal time and effort and in some cases their lives so we can have the very freedom that allows you ******** to ride your bikes, and curse him on this forum. So have some damn respect for the man, please.

And by the way experience only goes so far, sometimes **** happens and dumping the bike is your best option.
There's a 4 way stop bikers only go through if it's dry over here because trees hang over it and make it very slick with even the lightest rain. Add on the oil(s) and filth left by vehicles and you have a **** situation waiting to happen.
Which has happened there by many many people both extremely experienced and with none at all.

And, once again, people assume **** and harass the hell out of someone for no reason on these forums instead of having some damn constructive criticism.
Do you some of you people not know how to share your opinion whether it be positive or negative without being a total *******?
People just automatically propose that this person is doing the worst case scenario and immediately go off on them and ostracize them, then mob mentality kicks in and more of these morons join in.
It's pretty sad, I'll be 22 on the 13th and i KNOW some of you are twice my age and participating in this pathetic behavior.

You may have freedom of speech, but only fools fail to see that freedom of responsibility simply doens't exist.

i'm looking into getting my motorcycle license this summer (just need to go take the permit test and sign up for the PennDOT free motorcycle class-->15 hours of classroom/hands on training and then you get your license at the end. I'm not gonna be able to afford a bike this summer, but if i could get one next summer I was looking at getting a ninja 500. Seems like a good starter bike, and i could probably get a new one and not get killed on payments.

How is the riding position? I don't know much about bikes yet but i know that some sport bikes have pretty uncomfortable positions...

its not about respecting the bikes power, more powerful bikes are not going to be forgiving of beginner mistakes like throttle blip mid turn. I have 04 gixxer 1k and can honestly say that there are very few people that can ride even a 600 to its max. Now any retard can get on a straight away and crank the throttle and hold on, this takes absolutly no talent. weight should not be a factor in you choosing the engine size on a bike either, if a 100hp engine can lug around a 2000lb car, im sure it will work just fine with anything under a 300lb rider, anything over that and you need to seriously consider choosing a different hobby.

the busa is great for what it is, a sport touring bike. Pretty much any modern liter bike is going to be able to out run it mostly because of the weight difference. The 1300cc engine is also a much better platform for turbo or nitrous application.

the riding position on the Ninja is great. Perfect seat height (for me 5' 10"), comfy, upright or leaning forward (either works great on this bike). I love it so far!

Default Triumph.

I was thinking about a CBR600RR..but when i found out about the Triumph daytona 675..WoW!. the bike is amazing. it is kind of expensive but it is well worth the money. Triumph is amazing for making this perfect 3 cylinder bike!. and..i dont know how anyone can just go out and buy a busa for their first bike!!--Crazy. the 600 is plenty and i have been racing motocross for about 6 years now.

The 675 triple is an awesome bike... its light, and thin, which makes the handling on them superb to other bikes. I think one magazine did a spread on all the new 600's and included the 675 triple, and it outperformed them all. Excellent bike... I would have one if I wasn't so partial to Yamaha

I am wanting to get a bike in a couple years. Haven't ridden in 15 years. I am 6'7" 235lbs with a 38" inseam and I hate Harleys . I am thinking about the Suzuki Bandit 1250 or Triumph Tiger.

I dont like how every one assumes (not pointing any fingers) that just because the bike has the potential to be that much faster than it is unsafe. a bike will only go as fast as you want it to. if your a begginer stay out of the trottle. you can easily get just as hurt on a 500 as you could on a litre bike.
