Good kill. I fail to see what is so difficult to believe. MOST KB cobras barely get out the 11s.

Got proof? Ported Eaton cars run that.

The fact that its a 2.4 KB pushes the BS flag even higher. That car should have destroyed you even if you hooked and he spun his *** off.

I heard the blower in both vids but in the 2nd it seems like the cobra let off after first. I believe the outcome. Driver plays a big role. Hell, when I just had a lid, ported TB and maf with a tune I pulled a 04 cobra out of the hole and kept it through 3rd. Sounds like bullshit, I know but driver plays a big role I guess...

If he's making over 600 rwhp and about 700 rwtq on the spray, like he said, why couldn't he beat a KB Cobra? Most make in the 600+ range from what I've seen, and he's quite a bit lighter, I believe. Plus, although I'm sure it's a big number, I doubt they are making that kind of torque with the KB. Am I wrong? Corrections are always welcome.

If anything, I would ask how he is making over 600 rwhp on a 150-175 shot if he's only making 410 without it. Even a 175 shot, which seems like a high estimate if he's guessing 150-175, only puts him at 575 rwhp, give or take a little bit. But even at that power, I can see him keeping up with the Cobra because of the weight/aerodynamic difference.

ALSO, keep in mind the driver mod. That's HUGE at those power numbers on the street.

Either way, nice vid and nice race!

LOL!!! Svtperformance.com. All the proof you'll ever need. MOST eaton cars run high 11s-low 12s cause of either A. Driver B. rear C. combo of both. Step out of yuor magazine world and go to the track and you'll see more proof. KB cobras on street tune running **** times with high mph. THEN, you run on the street that isnt prepped etc. and you have an *** whippin from a lower powered car every time.

The LS1 guy makes 600ish like he said and the KB car was spinnin pretty good, you can hear the blower/motor when it spins but hey thats part of it, especially from a low roll!

We need the owner of the Cobra to come in here and lets us know the real run down on the car.

I have personally witnessed an Eaton powered cobra full weight with no nitrous run mid to low 11s consecutively. Whats your excuse now?

It was legit. Get over it....

just fyi, I saw a Nissan 240 with a T-67 putting down 570rwhp spank a built KB Mustang. Put a half car on him consistantly to 130mph. Not trying to brag either because my friend built the Mustang and couldn't believe it. Also, he was driving the car per the owner's request since the owner can't drive as well and was getting spanked by two cars until my friend drove for him. The 240 weighs nothing though. It was fast but junk. I'd rather drive a stock SS Camaro. Cheers.

If it is a 2.4 kb with cams on 24 psi then you are looking at a car that traps in the high 130's easy. The car would be making high high 600rwhp with equal torque. Remember the roots blower torque curve is from hit until almost redline. From you sig. you are trapping low teens on the motor and even on a 175 shot your best bet would be 128 to 130. Dyno number don't mean much. A nitrous fed car has a high peak torque but fails off quick.

Nice kill. I love how some people swing from the Cobra nuts. And the fact your running a smaller cam compared to most others, make people call B.S.

But I'll ask this to all the non-believers, "Do you guys also think its impossible for a small 224 cam to carry a full weight M6 into the LOW 11's??" If you say this is impossible also, your a dipshit. And if you couldn't hear the blower whine in either video I suggest a cleartone.

Not to mention the stangs weigh even more than our cars. So you take a small 224 cammed car that can put down 11's on motor & hit it with a 150-75 shot, you have a 10 second car. So with that & the f-body weighing less, you have the outcome you witnessed above.
