My new SS camaro, glamour shots!
Hey guys, I just picked this up from a good friend a couple weeks ago and thought I would share.
It's a super clean, fully loaded 2000 SS with 27k miles on the clock (30k now...I've been bonding with my new car ). She has patriot stage 2 heads, comp cam 224/224 .581/.581, 3 pillar pod, wide band o2, TSP true duals, Pacesetter LT's, lid, spohn sub frame connectors, 4 new tires, and he threw in HP tuners too.
I picked this up for $14,800. Do you guys think I got a good deal?
I've got an LS6 intake, ported TB, and Pro 5.0 shifter all waiting to be installed. The only thing on this car that bothers me is that it had a nitrous backfire (hence the new intake) a while ago and flexed the hood enough to spider crack it. The hoof was repainted really well but the color is off just enough to bug me. No one notices it but I know it's there so I always look at it. I wish I could find a stock SS hood for her.
Enjoy the pics:

Thanks guys. I'm located in Utah. Yeah I've been driving it a ton. This car is so much fun. I'm not sure what it's like elsewhere but these cars are rare around here and with the TSP duals and 12" bullet mufflers, it gets a lot of looks. I have people yell complements at me all the time.
My friend (the original owner) and I just got done putting on the LS6 intake today. It was pretty simple actually. These cars look more complicated then they are. I will say that I hate how the cowling overhangs the engine, it makes for some tight areas when wrenching. Also, with the speed density tune it's running now I'm way rich at WOT (11.5:1). So a new tune will be in the works when I get a laptop.
The grille looks better in person than in the pics. I bought a 67SS Camaro emblem and JB welded it in place. I really hate the stock grilles on these cars.
I would really like some torque thrust II's for her. I'm also debating on building an engine when I get some funds. Maybe an LSX....who knows?
