Like the title says. Looking for pics or even videos of LS1 cars with Roots Style super chargers. Haven't seen many and I'm very curious about them. Plus, the way they sound is just awesome

I think Hawks Thid Gen may have done one on a camaro. It was either them or Fbody Motorsports. I like the way they look over the others on the market but I just don't think they produce the results that vortech and prochargers do.

kenne bell has gotten decent results with their kit on vette's but that's the only ls1 car they offer a kit for.

I didn't think Kenne Bell was roots. I thought it was twin screw

And roots don't suck. They just are a completely different mod than a centri.

granted yes kb is a twin screw, but just in general you don't see many top mounted blower set ups on ls1's as compared to a centri style. procharger has proven to be one of the most reliable set ups you can put on an ls1. i've seen and know many people with mid high hp applications with prochargers and have very little problems if any.

In comparison to a twin screw, they are garbage.

There is a post in the FI forum right now where a guy has a 3.3L Whipple
on a C5 corvette.

Yea, Im misinformed! Hey KB's and Whipples are Twin Screw designs. They burry Roots in power production at EVERY rpm with less heat and more boost. Roots = Heat.
Heat = detonation
