Default My 11 sec Camaro vs INSANE Supra

My best time: 11.94 @ 117.11mph just to give you an idea how fast this Supra is.

Ran him from 40 on the freeway because he wouldn't run me off the line (I was on ET Streets)

ehh he probably was pushin around the 800rwhp mark. i wouldn't be dumb enough to run on street tires from a stop either against a car on et streets, even if it has half the power.

I got a local supra owner here that has the dyno sheet to prove it 9xxhp at the wheels..... He went to the strip and ran 3 times. He almost wrecked the first time. Second time he missed 2nd bad and couldn't find it and ran like 12.6. Third time busted traction and spun retardedly for a min and then ran a 12.0. Granted his trap speed was insane but the guy couldnt launch. (street tires too)

We should make a pact here. From this day forth the f-body will never run from a roll another supra.

But yeah that's a nasty Supra. Honorable butt whoopin.

I know some turbo ls1's and big power Z06's that wont run from a dig...

1/2 the time it's not because they're scarred, but rather because you break parts with stick tires..

It was funny though because my ET Streets were 255s and he had 355 GSD3s something or others.

I'm not sure the name of the color, but in sunlight it's basically a maroon metallic.

The Supra ended up pulling on the bike. I'm not sure what kind it was, but it was heavily modded.

ANY car with 600+ rwhp will enjoy running from 40 rather than a dig. Its very difficult to bolt slicks on EVERY time you go out.

I think it would have been fair to go 2 passes from a dig and roll...

Um so when did tire size matter?

Wow a 355 road racing/performance stiff side wall

VS

A soft large sticky side wall ET street

Durr

ET street is made for hooking

Obviously the ET Street is made to hook, but that extra width should give him some traction. I was around 27psi too for driving on the street so they weren't going to hook as well as they can.

The first race I was topped out 5th at about 145mph, the second only about 130 or so.

I think I did ok for him having more than double what I have at the wheels. I've done a bunch of stuff since then, so I'll run him again from a lower speed or a dig. I know I'll still lose, but he's a cool guy and it's all for fun.
