MMP Track Rental Video, LS1's, Mustangs, Lightnings, it's all in here! That red Viper has a Roe blower and made OVER 30-35 passes, there was a G35 that made over 40-45 passes Im pretty sure. WTF! The Lightning that runs a 9.9 was 4 hundredths off his best 60 ft and has a STOCK TRANSMISSION with over 700 passes on it! That Toyota Starlet has a turbo rotary in it, little bastard is fast!
Was a fun day!

Well it's the fastest Lightning in the world on a stock transmission that anybody is aware of. I havent ever seen a stock transmission in ANYTHING take 700+ passes in a vehicle that weighs over 2 tons. Especially with well over 700 rwhp and 800+ rwtq going through it, hanging the tires on the launch!

I ran a 11.09, 11.05, and 11.03. Best mph was 126.5. Car went 7.02 at 100 in the 1/8th Couldn't leave hard as the track wouldn't hold anything over 5K on the hit. All runs were NA.

BTW casey has converter,deep pan and valvebody work on the transmission. The truck/trans only has about 20k miles on it too. Those things are made to take abuse like blazer said.

Well if you have info of a faster L with a stock transmission, feel free to post it, as that would be pretty damn impressive. Key words are "fastest known". Truck has over 20k miles on it these days, still under 30k I think though. It's on it's way out and has been for awhile. Converter doesnt help the trans live, if anything it hurts it, deep pan and valve body are sissy mods at that level. You know this. Every truck on NLOC in the 9's, hell a bunch in the 10's are all running built trans.

Here is the link you asked for. I know a few more too. There is one in LA also running a stock tranny. Turbo truck 9.70s and full weight not stripped down.
Like it said it has about 20k miles on the tranny. My 99L Transmisison has 70k miles on it and runs strong still
but who cares. A converter will soften up the shifts causing the transmission to live longer FYI. Valve body work will keep the line pressure up helping prevent and slippage so yes the mods are critcal. This is a free charge of Mechanics 101 for you this time.

If I cared I would pull 600lbs out of the truck up the nitrous from a 75hp to 200hp. I think that would net me an easy 9sec truck from my 10.40. That's if I cared. I daily drive mine and tow my Boat with it. I actaully complimented him. There again I wouldnt expect pcola people to see that

Why all the "fastest L on the Gulf Coast" talk? Casey's truck still weighs a bit over 4000 pounds with him in it.
