I only had a crappy digital camera, but at least you can hear what it sounds like. These runs were still in the tuning phase and hp #'s were in the 490's. Ended up with 510/497.
Could we get some more pics of the charger on the motor. Did you have to cut anything on the top of the firewall to fit it? I thought it wouldn't clear. I wonder if it would work on camaros? I perfer screw type chargers over the centrifical ones. Thanks in advance for the pics.
Awsome, looks like it put down some good numbers. I bet that thing pulls like hell on the highway. What other mods do you have besides the magna charger. Oh yeah, how about some ET's.

Yes you have to cut a little on the cowl. Nothing noticeable once the plactic cover is put back on. The k-member is also slightly lowered. Check out Late Model Speed for the kit. They are a sponsor here. Here's a link to some pics of the install. Make sure you look at both pages. http://s28.photobucket.com/albums/c2.../Magnacharger/

TR224 cam, TEA stage 1.5 heads, 123,000 mile stock bottom end. Ran 11.4 @ 122mph with a slipping clutch.
What are you doing for fuel? what size injector 42lbs? what size fuel pump?
I run 93 octane all the time. The car has a Walbro 255 fuel pump, 42lb injectors, and the magnavolt. Since I already had the Walbro 255, I probably didn't have to have the magnavolt. The injectors are at 102% duty cycle.
Is your hood modified at all? You mentioned modifying the K-member, is that the stock one or do you have a tubular? cutting? welding? fabricating? Oh and one more thing.. that thing is F'n SICK!!

Yes, I did cut my hood to make it fit. Some people may not have too. I probably could have ground down the throttlebody some, but I decided to cut the hood instead. The K-member is stock. Just added spacers and longer bolts. The only cutting is on the cowl close to the windshield wipers. It's covered by the plastic so no one will notice.
Spacers for the K-member.
Marking the cut on the cowl.
Cut I made on the hood.
Don't worry, you can't see it.
You can see the cut after I welded a plate in and painted it here.
