plus you also are driving an automatic car. get in a 6-speed and i bet you won't have near the same success you are having now. in retro spec now that i think about it your 11.4 isn't that impressive. let me think, ranger and J-rod running 11.8's in bonestock 330ishrwhp c5 z06's on STOCK run flat tires with a 6-SPEED. there's some real driving for you.
i don't personally know Zac but i do know big bronco. and i find it hilarious watching you talk **** to him considering he's probably helped to build motors that cost as much or more then your vette does.
and yes wow an srt-8 awd jeep cherokee with over 100whp to the ground and probably 100+ftlbs of torque (yes i know it weighs 5000lbs) beats a new stock mustang gt by .4 of a second. was the mustang a 5-speed? that leaves more up to the driver. the srt-8 is idiot proof. you just sit there and stomp the gas to the floor and it goes. all your comparisons are automatic cars compared to 6-speed cars. and in a manual its all up to the driver to make the car perform. so as i said before jump into a 6-speed c6 with your same mods and run the same time. then you can talk.
Thank you for points mentioned that I did not touch on. When is it time for that LS1 swap for the old F-bod Sean?

I've ran manual cars, but they are, imo, archaic in nature and no matter the skill of the driver, and there are some good ones out there, the A6 transmission shifts far faster and cleaner than any manual.Ranger(and ,btw, he's got the quickest Et for a stock/stock tire Z06 C6 ) is an above average manual transmission driver, and I'm not taking anything away from him, but int he realm of drag racing, he's one in a hundred thousand. All the HP in the world don't matter if you miss the shift and a car with 1/2 your HP goes flying by you or if you burn up the clutch and can't even get a decent launch. My A6 shifts firmer and faster than most race-purpose built manual trannies out there. I've owned a couple of Rossler built trannies, and those guys are a class act and a half, and this thing rates right up there with the best doorslammer tranny they make, imo. As far as an SRT8 Jeep being idiot proof...isn't that what most people set their cars up to be when they race? Do you actually want more things to go wrong? Or, do you have a set up so that hopefully you'll make it down the 1320 with as little chance of error as possible? ChevyWeatherMan...why not go and look at some clouds or something? Don't you have a doppler calling for you? As for you calling me an assclown...wow...that's so 6th grade of you.C'mon...I understand completely what altitude does to the ETs and output of cars, but as I stated a few BILLION times, there is no way, with the 790 RWHP this GT500 has ,that 11.7's are even close to what a car with that HP should run, especially a car that many consider a sports coupe or muscle car. I don't care about the altitude, a school bus with that HP would turn mid 11's. Slomofo.....thanks, I think out of most of the people who read this ongoing butt rape of the mustang, you understand that I'm just jabbing at these folks to get them to jab back. If you take this crap seriously, you are indeed the assclowns. I stand behind my statement on the original post movie car and there's no swaying that.It ran what it ran and this isn't a world of IFs. As for the rest of the rectal bleeding (assualt on mustangs), you guys should be able to take a joke, after all, you drive one. (see.......humor....it's FANtastic!) Apex, you obviously don't know Vettes from what you say. A Z51 C6 can pull 1.0+ g's right out of the box, the Z06 a little better. These cars weren't built for the straight line 1/4 mile, they were built to handle the worst curves the roads can throw at them and come through them without problem, and they do. They have a "drag race handicap" as their weight is evenly distributed through out the car and weight transer is almost non-exisitant, unlike F bodies and Fox bodies and yes, modern stangs. You have to completely rethink all you know about drag racing to properly launch a vette, be it auto or stick, and when you have the stock tune, there's more to hold you back, like torque management. Anyways, I'm done with this, ban me, don't ban me, whatever. Now that my goofy little Zac is gone, I'm without cause to keep on typing. I guess he's off making one of those pornos ....:O :O BTW.....what the hell is "crawfishin'"...hmmm....something he caught on the set of that all boy **** he's doing, I bet.

You sure are obsessed with the thought of other people in here joining you in being a ***. You'd have better luck proving something correct in this thread. Be sure to warn us before you try to re-set the record for fastest mouth to take on a dick. Stock tires or not no one wants to see that ****.

awww...I touched a nerve with the wittle zaccy pooh. Whats the matter, you all pissed because you still live at home with mom and she made you take out the trash....but no matter how hard you tried, the mustang just wouldn't fit into the trash can, so she grounded you from your "need for speed:mustang nights" video game and your 20 copies of "2 fast 2 furious"? Man, when you babies need a changing, you sure cry alot. I can't help that you're stuck driving that ugly *** **** yellow musturdang, so get off my back(please...ick). Maybe mommy and step-daddy-who-beats-you will get you an import or something better than that car soon, until then, just understand when your boyfriends want to take their car to Disney on Ice and not yours...I was done with this thread until I saw you had posted and I wanted to give you another few seconds in dream land so that you can pretend you're a grown up and can carry on a converation with the others here, but then you post up the obscenity laced message and I thought to myself...self, I said, Zac needs to be told what a dumb *** he is and so, here I am....you're a dumbass.

What ... no witty 3000 word essay detailing your Vette's rise to the top of the stock wiper fluid class? Tell you what, since you're going to do your best to replicate the Encyclopedia Britannica I'm going to go ahead and introduce you to this little thing called a Paragraph.
Now that we have covered that, maybe now we wont get migraines after skimming through your pathetic attempt at the English language.

lol i know exactly what i'm talking about. and i've seen what vette's are capable of. they are a great platform to start off with but umm who cares about lateral G's and slalom speeds. that doesn't always mean the car handles good or better then another. the vette is a working mans sports car. it does its job pretty well without draining your wallet and having you sell off a house just to own it. and i fully respect what you get for the cash having driven a c5 and a c6. and in saying that i also understand and agree with what you say that its a different mind set launching one compared to say my camaro or a mustang (which i've also owned). i won't take away from what you've accomplished with your car but understand there ARE cars that are better.

was it not the owner who posted the vid originally on you tube and made the "placards" with his stats(HP,MODs,etc..)...?Why would he overstate his mods at that point when the runs were so bad compared to the power output? Sounds like :1) he was setting himself up for ridicule or 2) those were his mods, he's just shameful for those numbers and is saying the car didn't have the HP stated on the vid when the runs were made. Either way....
