What was done to that vette? Guarantee you it's a completely different drivetrain so it's a fun race to watch but not a good indication of what this race could be. Great vette though, thing was squatting pretty damn good when it was passing the camera.

"Its a 385inch Gen 1 SBC (40 over stroker), AFR heads,CC284E hydraulic flat tappet cam,Victor Jr, Holley 770, dual stage NOS etc. High 11's on motor 520hp, high 10's on NOS 730hp (spins bad)in the quarter mile -through a race built 700R4 trans, 3000 stall, 3.90 rear end. Still air conditioned, power everything, 300watt stereo. My son and I started building it when he was in high school (its his car). He drove it as a daily driver through grad school. He left it with me, while he works in NYC. "

the guys racing are my friends dad and his best friend w/ the GT.
vette is a 383 w/ 200 shot. a clean little sting ray, and at the point and time of the filming of the movie, the Ford GT is still stock.
