Wicked! I loved the gauges to 140mph.

Can anyone explain how you pick up horses with an air filter. Does it just smooth out the incoming air? That was sick.

I think as you said the airflow was restricted by the filter,not allowing optimum performance, take the filter off, and you've got unrestricted air. more air = more power.

yeah it is.. this is not your cobra.
7k is the the limit for ls1 based street car. Yeah people CAN go 7500 but my builder said 7k is safe limit.
He also said stock bottom end he wouldnt rev past 6900 (stock head bolts studs)

I rev to 7000 on stock bottom end. And it was tuned by newtech

I thought most people going to the iron block would go with a 408 not a 402...but who cares... 800hp is 800 hp!!

You can go well past 7000 RPMs if you pick the right parts, and the head bolts are not the limiting factor with the RPMs...that usually falls on the rod bolts in these engines.
