Just to clarify a little more...
I was the guy in the chase car doing the filming. (sorry it sucked)
The chase car is a C6 'vert auto with an air filter and a kit. Runs low 11's on stock tires. We kept up with the TT Cobra and the z28 b/c they were spinning, but the C6 runs well.
As brokeTA (z28 owner) and BLK 03 (TT Cobra owner) already explained, this was just some fun racing for entertainment. Both cars make some serious power and aren't going to run to their potential on the street... especially on that slick highway.
I just wanted to mention that the z28 wasn't on a full slick (ET street slick) and the Cobra had 18psi or more in his tires... z28 also only sprayed 100 shot.
All in all, great day of fun!

LOL!!!!
this **** makes me laugh. There were so many variables that day its not even funny. I have a two stage Nitro Daves plate and I'm only using the first stage. 100 shot. Either way I know the owner of the cobra (pretty cool guy). These vids were posted for entertainment only. Not a pissing match between people that don't even know either party. The road was sweating horribly that day so I know my car would have traction problems, and I also knew the cobra would as well. The vid is proof. Neither car ran what it should in that vid, and neither car will ever run what it should on the street.

What's up fellas. I can't stay too long, this LS1 stuff will make me melt, lol.
The Cobra is mine and the numbers are a little off. Just for clarification, the Cobra made around 800RWHP on 22 pounds and around 950 RWHP on 27 pounds, no nitrous. The car made more on higher boost and nitrous, but those numbers stay with me![Thumb](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies2/thumb.gif)
Here is one more video of me racing the "chase car" (C6 Corvette with spray) that was filming the Z28/Cobra slalom down the interstate, lol.

And nope, never driven a 900HP with a 6 speed on the street. I'm not that foolish. What's the point of all that power if you can't use it as evidenced by that Camaro that makes several hundred HP more less and ran with the Cobra even after traction was an issue.
So the Cobra can't get it done on the street - what does it run at the track?

I let out midway through 4th. I was starting to pull pretty good at that point, and figured it wasn't a big deal. Watch the first run I ran 4th till almost 140 or so. 140 with less than stellar traction on the street is a little nerve racking. We go on cruises all the time, so I'm sure this won't be last vid you see of both cars.

The Cobra owner chimed in and stated that the car was not making 900HP, LIKE I SAID.

That was on a 2.9 60' so I was pretty happy with that, but I think it might have more in it.
It's a non-working piece of **** and I'm "foolish" so I'm going to sell it.
