Cobra was on 22lbs = 900ish whp

Z28 runs 10s on motor

Both cars on full slicks

73 degrees

Was the chase car really that fast? Or was traction really that much of an issue? I could clearly see both of them hanging on for dear life, especially the Cobra.

Chase car is a bottled C6 vette that was spraying behind them. I'll dig up the in car vids.

Unsure how much the Z was spraying but I know it has multi stages. This is not the same cobra that raced Hunter, on the youtube link if you click the link to the user that posted it (the owner of the cobra) you can see vids of his car. Marc 85Z28, not sure why you think this, Z runs 10s on motor and if it because they never get really far away from the camera its due to the fact that its a C6 that was spraying trying to get good footage. Thanks.

I would think an engine producing in excess of 1000HP in a 3700lb car would run away from a spraying C6. Putting a few lengths on one 10 seconds into the race is lame. It paced a 370ci on the spray (likely several hundred fewer rwhp). That looks more like a 700rwhp Cobra.

In case you didnt watch the video, the guy is all over the place trying to keep it on the road. Sorry but its hard to pull on people when your doing that.

A lil more info on the cobra

Still 6sp and IRS
17lbs pump gas = 740rwhp
I believe on 27lbs and a lil N20 it did just shy of 1200rwhp
