Track video of my car Nov 2nd '07 best run 10.64@124 best 60' was a 1.36 you can hear the converter locking in 3rd at about the 750' mark. This was the orginal stock transmission that had a basic rebuild done in 2003. This past Monday night I installed my Performabuilt level 3 4L60E. Hitting Atco again March 24th. This Yank converter is still dropping great 60 foot numbers after 4 years. The Spohn suspension setup helped keep this car dead straight as well. I have an issue with a super stiff suspension tho' I know it's good that way the problem is I cant soften it any if I want to. These video's below were shot with my HAL's in the rear both set on ZERO. After talking with Spohn he has pointed me towrds the solution great people to deal with over there.

Actually guys this setup is like almost 5 years old LOL. It's a G5X3 cam and a set of Absolute Speed 5.3 heads. Stock original untouched shortblock car made just over 440RWHP on a dynojet with the converter locked. My Dad is a longtime member here and a moderator (JFM) he bought the car new in 1999 and it's something we both enjoyed over the years. Car has 22K miles on it LOL. Car is very light came in at 2800 lbs on the button (unoccupied) 2990 with me in it. We actually expected a bit better numbers overall this time out.
The last track outing this car saw was in Nov of 2004 and the car ran a best of 10.66@125. Since then we lost 200lbs and added just about 30RWHP so we expected to see 10.3's@like 127ish. The weather was similar as both 2004 and 2007 outings were in Nov and DA's came close to each other. We as well as others at the track thought 3rd gear sounded long and drawn out showing signs the stock trans was finally showing it capabilities being pushed. It owes me nothing it has held up great. I'll keep you guys updated after the next rental with this new Performabuilt unit gets put thru it's paces.
