just wanted to share some pics (nonLs1 content) hey guys, some may have seen my car around, i posted some pics last yr sometimes, its a 1998 986 5spd, ocean jade green metallic color (i know its not for everyone, but i did want a common color so...)
i have done all the work on the car, from maintenance to lowering.
cant wait for autocross season to see what difference all the mods will do compared to last yr
well here it is w some new upgrades:
Gemballa lowering springs
OEM Litronic headlights
OEM smoked sidemarkers
OEM smoked tail lights
B&M short shifter
Evolution Motorworks cold air intake
Silver/black interior
MOMO X-Avion 350 wheel/momo hub
18in EuroTech wheels, 275s back 225s front
Yellow Brembo calipers
Color matched hardtop
Color matched tachometer
2 sided exhaust cutouts/Eissenman exhaust tip
and one with lits on
the wheel
and this is what it looked like when i bought it w 17s,not lowered,orange lights and so on...

I like it! I can't say I really like the color but it's not bad. It gives the car an original and unique look for sure. Maybe if I saw the color in person I would like it better. I like all the little mods you've done too. I'd maybe get some tint but that's it.

Looks good man. I keep debating whether to have my CCW's painted black . This has me debating it even more as they are way too hard to keep clean and looking new. The color is different but the wheels make it look more "muscular".

like i said, either you like the color or not, and people who dont like it if they see i in real life they change their mind, its a very weird shade of blue and green and it changed depending on light.
when i was shopping for a car i wanted to have something that was not common, and this fit very well, so i had to get it, i even drove out of state to buy it (theres plenty of boxster in chicago) so that goes to show as well how badly i wanted it....the last thing i wanted was another silver boxster with 17s.
mods that will come in the future should be:
carrera front bumper
rear bumper diffusers
GHL or Borla or Gemballa muffler and headers
and some side skirts
BUT, since modding porsche is not the cheapest thing around it may take a while
and if (or when) this engine blows up then ill prolly stick a bigger one in there
