All 3 times bro? If this had happened once then yea if he claimed to miss a gear then sure why not. This guy had a stock 5.0 with intake/exhaust. Like I stated earlier had this been me racing a mid 9 second car would it not appear that I missed a gear? We did a couple of digs with the exact same result. It will appear that the guy isn't trying but in reality it's a 3 second difference in cars...

Yeah man...same thing happened to me the first time I roll raced someone in my swap. I raced a buddies 5.7 TPI formula. My car was formerly a 5.0 TPI car... I was expecting alittle more of a race, but aparently I underestimated my motor setup, because I thought he broke during the first race. Upon slowing down and him catching up he yells out the window "HOLY **** MAN... That thing is violent" haha. Confirmed that he was on it 100%.
My point to that story was...a Stock 5.0 stang and the 5.7 TPI cars were fairly close. No idea what his would have trapped or what his times were. But I know when I had my 5.0 TPI...his felt WAY faster. haha.

Haha thats pretty good. Reminds me of a similar event. Theres a local group of car guys around here. This one guy has a civic hatchback w/ an h22. The car is gutted...has run high 12s. Not bad for a honda. Anyways, there is another group of fox body mustangs. They all talk **** about racing all the time, its really annoying. From their small group the quickest one runs MAYBE a high 13 on spray. One of them calls out this civic hatch to run. They bet big money on this race, I think it was a couple hundred overall.
Needless to say our friend in the civic hatch completely walked this 5.0 fox body!! It was hilarious!
Just to show you the intelligence level of those few fox owners, one of them tried to tell me that he put twin t3/t4 turbos on his car and he would walk my DD ws6. I asked if he would race my 402 SS Camaro....he talked **** for a minute and then denied the race. I caught him later on with the hood up....no turbos...what a tool!

I remember thinking my 13 second car was quick when I first got it. Then that got old. Made the jump to a 11.5 second set up. Wow...that was fun. However...Im used to it now... And now I have to rebuild the car, sooo..... I just HAVE to do something about the power levels. Just makes sense. hehe.
I wanna be scared by it again.
