Metallica, Thousand Foot Krutch, All that remains, Avenged Sevenfold, Chevelle, Evans Blue, Hatebreed, Linkin Park, Papa Roach, Rob Zombie, Seether, etc. there is a lot of good bands it really all depends on your style of music and if you can relate it to the video.

I just stumbled across Hinder's version to Born to be Wild music video on youtube. Thought it was cool they had some old muscle in it. Maybe it's not your cup of tea though.

I think the music should somewhat reflect the cars in the video. Imports usually seem to sync with electronic/techno, and muscle (for me anyhow) needs some type of rock. Just don't make it something too hard, or too loud so that it drowns out the car's sound. There's a ton of good tracks out there, I think the trick is in the editing to make it somewhat go with the music.
