I am just curious why you swapped to a carb? I think I have seen articles showing that EFI will always make more power than a carb.

Thanks for the props guys. After I got the hood painted and on the car, VFN came out with the new one and I was pissed, lol. I would rather have it on there than this one but I'll end up buying it sooner or later.

haven't got it dyno'd yet with the carb but when it was still fuel injected with the heads/cam/FAST 90/90, it put down like 475. I just bought the 6010 control box for it and getting it tuned in a couple weeks.

Yeah man it's been a while. I thought I saw you on base a couple weeks ago but wasn't sure if it was you. I'll have the car back down here hopefully this month.

Didn't realize who you was until I opened this thread.

I actually met you one night at KDS. I was running my red 85 GT up there on one of their Friday night T&T's when they were doing the Outlaw races too.

I saw your car parked down in the pits from me and I saw the carb (I'm a carb guy) and had to check it out. Some of the guys that were with me are F-Body guys and they walked down to check your car out too.
They were talking trash about your car being carbed...I just thought they were doing it to bust my ***** because they are always busting on me about carburetors.

Now that I've read this thread, I now realize that they were just hating on the carb because it was on a LS.

If you ever go to CPD, maybe I'll see ya there.

Okay yeah I remember talking to you. The car looks a little different since the last time you saw it. It is still in Ohio right now and hasn't been tuned so it still runs like *** but I'm going to try and get it down here sometime in September and start hitting the tracks.
