Default Snap Shot of Drive Shaft Breaking!

This is something you don't see every day. A picture taken just as the drive shaft and rear end take a dump! The specs on the picture are actually from the gear oil that sprayed out onto the camera lens! The first two pictures are compliments of texasdragracing.com. The last one is from southtexasracing.com. Enjoy the carnage!

I've never seen the pinion come out still attached to the drive shaft before.

on a stock 3rd member 9" this is very common with alot of power. It breaks it and shoots the pinion support forward.

The rear is prolly still fine. Just need a new center section!! That is the weak part!

There was nothing wrong with the driveshaft that was all center section related.
