I did that to my 3rd gen. It was in my head with the Formula but I couldn't get myself to cut anything(I did take the spare and seats out), plus I was going to maybe sell it later and that makes it lose value like Whoa.

Using the wrong tools isn't ingenuity, its stupidity. Cool the caps-lock. We spend $1000's on these cars, I think anybody in this hobby can afford a Torx bit.

No I haven't.

Won't the front bumper flap at high speeds like a ricer body kit without the supports?

Not really and if you support it with aluminum you don't have to worry about it at all.

The back has a support too but it is pretty beneficial for weight transfer.

I grabbed my front bumper after removing the bumper support and it didn't hardly move so I didn't worry about it. It's bolted on and who's gonna notice it flopping if they're all behind you lol.

Mine is down to 3060 without me.

I still have to put the racing seat in, take the air bags out and remove all the radio stuff

One, I'd keep that stuff. If you ever plan to sell the car you will need it. It would take a certain someone to buy it the way you have it and it would cost a fortune to replace that stuff from GM.

Two, Your car is going to be obnoxiously loud and annoying. You're going to hear every little pebble hitting the underbody of your car now. You get down to low 11's and I'll be on my way to a 10 second pass in my fully optioned car listening to my system, which has two amps, a sub and the whole rear lined with multiple laters of dynamatt... with the A/C on. ****, I think I added 200 hundred lbs to my car. Between the stereo, my iron block and the turbo kit I'm sure it's 4000#'s with me in it.

The seat belt's aren't allen wrenches, they are Torx bits, I don't remember the size though.

my friend ended up puting some type of carpet in, but like yours has nothing else, just a home made dash with a few gagues and kirkys race seat. it has a full 10 point cage though.

I'm gonna get some light weight carpet to put in it and then reinstall all the trim pieces after I put the 6 point in.
