I got the same response on the Titan board when I said "Great...another high end car that is prey for the TA". Everyone started talking crap until one preson on the board asked what was done to the TA in the forum. After I listed my mods(long list too) then the real racers were like...Oh damn. Well first of all, his GTR was purchased on the black market and not actually bought in Oman. They are not sold in our country as of yet. All Japanese spec GTR's are equipped with a 111mph governor, unless upgraded before purchased by (Mines, HKS or Amuse).

I never implied that the GTR was faster. I simply expressed as to why it seemed worse than what it actually was. And this is due to the governor.

Again, since it is limited to 111 or 115 or 118 like every other damn time this this car performs below expectations, how could it go from a 150 roll?

What? Black market? Are you kidding me? The Guy bought the car from Oman, From Nissan company here in Oman... It's a Gulf spec car, they are sold here in Oman & in gulf countries...There are like 8 GTR here in Oman...

Look at the last video of the 150KPH (94MPH) run, when the camera pans away from thw GTR the speedo in the Z reads right around 260KPH = 163 MPH. So the GTR is somewhere in the range of 163 MPH. Or are you saying that he would race from 94 to 111 knowing he had a limiter?

Look at the run from the 80 KHP roll-the Z hits 280KPH =175.

So ya, the GTR went over 111. Went over 115. Went over 118.

No matter what the excuses fly.

Wow, the responses in this thread trying to justify the GTR getting walked are just astonishing. How can you keep clinging to this GTR ****? It's obvious to anyone with half a brain, one working eye and deductive reasoning skills that the GTR would get walked just like it did.

Perhaps those defending the GTR lack those three qualities.

Thats great but if you notice the topic at hand is the Z06 bitch slapping hype-smile right off the GTRs nose. Again the car is great on a track, but when your driving on the street or highway you only go in a straightline. Especially here in the US if a GTR owner never touches a road course and only street races, well i hope he doesn't run into any Z06s or ZR1s.

btw isn't the warranty void if you take the gtr to a non approved Nissan venue (racetrack) or something like that ...do they want every ricer in American to start racing around a track .............death tolls would rise into the hundred of thousands in one weekend...
wait might be a good marketing ploy the car is sooooooooo incredible that mere mortals cannot handle it

back to the amazing gtr's ability... that car has a black box that records everything ....even what techno song the ricer was jamming to before getting his *** handed to him in a stock vette i hope the box records excuses also id love to hear them

granted the gtr might be quicker than the runflat equipped zo6 around a tight track but runflats can be replaced with slicks easier than the gtr can be modded

i know every ricer will start saying with a few dollars a gtr can beat any car.... blah blah blah .......but those guys fail to realize at a certain point the cars heft will show and the lighter cars will dominate around a track.

the only advantage the gtr has is its ability to put down power sooner due to better traction that can be fixed with tires

in ending please anyone with a gtr in houston look me up ill run you in a kinda stock ls2 vette i truly wanna see how these things really do
