Income tax laws were only implemented because of war time and the country's needs during WWII, but the government grew greedy even after the war was over and never stopped collecting them. Therefore we get stuck in the *** by an unlawful tax and there is nothing we can do about it. It makes me sick to think that I work for them too, I just have to remember that Im fighting for the people and not this fucked up government/country.

Easy answer because you have to have a voice to say something about it. The irs will continue to do so untill something is said about it. The world is full of sheep and the big banks are the ones doing the herding.

sicko - or any movie by moore - is hardly something I'd trust. VERY biased. Some facts thrown in with propaganda.

If it was really a federal(our government)income tax, shouldn't we be paying our government and not a privately held bank that happens to be named "The Federal Reserve"? Just food for thought.

I love all the pseudo-intellectuals that watch "Loose Change" or some dumb Michael Moore movie, and think they have it ALLLL figured out.

EDIT: That came out too harsh... but people who use the term "sheeple" generally are the ones getting the wool pulled over their eyes :/ Conspiracy theorists are fun to talk with (read:ChocoTaco)

If you don't want to pay taxes anymore, find loopholes and ways around them. A perfect example is having a personal business out of your home. Many of the things you pay for everyday now become tax writeoffs. Part of your mortgage, electric, heating, food, all tax deductible to a certain extent.

Hell, I plan to finish my basement in the near future, and it'll be a tax writeoff because I'm calling it a 'design studio' for my wife.

For those who read the bible here is alil information about the subject of taxes from Mark chapter 12 verse 14 thru 17.

king james version of the bible mark chapter 12 verse 14 thru 17

14And when they were come, they say unto him, Master, we know that thou art true, and carest for no man: for thou regardest not the person of men, but teachest the way of God in truth: Is it lawful to give tribute to Caesar, or not?

15Shall we give, or shall we not give? But he, knowing their hypocrisy, said unto them, Why tempt ye me? bring me a penny, that I may see it.

16And they brought it. And he saith unto them, Whose is this image and superscription? And they said unto him, Caesar's.

17And Jesus answering said unto them, Render to Caesar the things that are Caesar's, and to God the things that are God's. And they marvelled at him.

New American standard bible mark chapter 12 verse 14 thru 17

14They came and said to Him, "Teacher, we know that You are truthful and defer to no one; for You are not partial to any, but teach the way of God in truth. Is it lawful to pay a poll-tax to Caesar, or not?

15"Shall we pay or shall we not pay?" But He, knowing their hypocrisy, said to them, "Why are you testing Me? Bring Me a [b]denarius to look at."

16They brought one. And He said to them, "Whose likeness and inscription is this?" And they said to Him, "Caesar's."

17And Jesus said to them, "(K)Render to Caesar the things that are Caesar's, and to God the things that are God's." And they were amazed at Him.

Instead of working so hard to find an easy way out of taxes, work within the system and you'd be surprised at how many ways there are to decrease your taxable income.

EDIT: I got this in an email a week or so ago, and it's appropriate for this:

EXPLAINING THE UNITED STATES TAXATION SYSTEM WITH BEER

Suppose that every day, ten men go out for beer and the bill for all ten comes to $100.
If they paid their bill the way we pay our taxes, it would go something like this:

The first four men (the poorest) would pay nothing.
The fifth would pay $1.
The sixth would pay $3.
The seventh would pay $7.
The eighth would pay $12.
The ninth would pay $18.
The tenth man (the richest) would pay $59.

So...........that's what they decided to do.

The ten men drank in the bar every day and seemed quite happy with the arrangement, until one day, the owner threw them a curve.

'Since you are all such good customers,' he said, 'I'm going to reduce the cost of your daily beers by $20. Drinks for the ten now cost just $80.'

The group still wanted to pay their bill the way we pay our taxes so the fi rst four men were unaffected
They would still drink for free. But what about the other six men ----- the paying customers?

How could they divide the $20 windfall so that everyone would get his 'fair share?'
They realized that $20 divided by six is $3.33.
But if they subtracted that from everybody's share, then the fifth man and the sixth man would each end up being paid to drink his beer.
So, the bar owner suggested that it would be fair to reduce each man's bill by roughly the same amount, and he proceeded to work out the amounts each should pay.

And So:

The fifth man, like the first four, now paid nothing (100% savings).
The sixth now paid $2 instead of $3 (33%savings).
The seventh now pay $5 instead of $7 (28%savings).
The eighth now paid $9 instead of $12 (25% savings).
T he ninth now paid $14 instead of $18 (22% savings).
The tenth now paid $49 instea d of $ 59 (16% savings).

Each of the six was better off than before and the first four continued to drink for free, but once
Outside the restaurant, the men began to compare their savings. 'I only got a dollar out of the $20,' declared the sixth man.

He pointed to the tenth man, 'but he got $10!'
'Yeah, that's right,'exclaimed the fifth man. 'I only saved a dollar, too. It's unfair that he got TEN times more than I!'

'That's true!!' shouted the seventh man. 'Why should he get $10 back when I got only two? The wealthy get all the breaks!'

'Wait a minute,' yelled the first four men in unison. 'We didn't get anything at all. The system exploits the poor!'

The nine men surrounded the tenth and beat him up.

The next night the tenth man didn't show up for drinks, so the nine sat down and had beers without him.

But when it came time to pay the bill, they discovered something very important....they didn't have enough money between all of them for even half of the bill!

And that..............boys and girls, journalists and college professors, is how our tax system works.

The people who pay the highest taxes DO get the most benefit from a tax reduction.
They also PAY more than the rest.
Tax them too much...........attack them for being wealthy.........and they just may not show up anymore.

For those who understand...............no explanation is needed.
For those who
do not understand................no explanation is possible!

No one ***** with the swiss, there whole country becomes one fighting force if a war breaks out. And they are armed to the hilt, and all there money is deep underground etc...

They have a great system out there, hitler said it would have been a bad idea to go and mess with them since it would consum to much time and effort and they were best left alone.

my thoughts exactly. the comment about if you don't like it leave is just plain bullshit. this is our country not the goverments. there's lots of room for improvement and it should'nt be dicounted with moronic statements like that.

Again, if you don't like how much you are paying in taxes, then sit down with a financial advisor or a good tax accountant and figure out ways to work within the system and lower your taxable income bracket.

Brushing your teeth and being kind to other people is not a law either but you need to grow up and be a man.
