I've wanted to put decent tires on my stockers and take it drifting. They have events at the nearest drag strip every now and then, and will set up two tracks, one for beginers, and one for more experienced people. Last time I went, some guy was taking his viper around, and there was a white cobra r replica drifting around.

i love all car racing sports. well nascar gets boring...but i love the DTM racing, drag racing, drifting, etc.

I still dont understand why people are so ignorant that they cant separate rice from imports. RICER can refer to anyone, its more about mentality and how you modify your car, and how you act towards everyone else. realistically it can describe an ignorant person.

anyways, im interested in what kind of tires you used as well as your steering modification. i may be trying out some road course with my car, pretty similar setup i would assume?

Yea. Dont forget you still want as much grip as you can get so you can get the most speed from the car and control. As far as tires in this Vid i was running Goodyear F1.

Pretty impressive. I've seen some vids of F-bodys drifting, but not like that. Sounds good too.

Drifting is a real art. Not hi jacking the thread but I attended a session @ Barrett Jackson last year and was amazed at the skill needed to keep the car going in such a tight spot and can drift the car and go fairly slowly also.

I personally love watching cars, especially cars which aren't built for drifting, drift. It's an entertaining sport and one that requires skill.

Awesome video.
