the reason I said that was in some of the earlier posts someone said "whats the point of that" ( similar comment to that )

so thats why I said the "point" is that its fun.

People always have something to say about drifting, I dont care to watch it, kinda boring to watch sometimes, but doing it is a blast. Anything that involves schredding tires is fun as F*%*& to me.

Yea i agree, watching the Pros is fun. To see how fast and how much control they have is awsome. Some of the beginners are kinda borning to watch..

It was second around the turns and off the line. I would pop it in third halfway through the straight and then back in second coming into the left hander towards the camera. It was a bit awkward coming from driving a manual at all times but it does the job!

I think most people that think drifting is gay have a few things up their buttholes.

1. They spent 10k modding their car so people will notice them. Drifters just using driving skills and half the cost. Straight line racing is badass and interesting, but I don't hear drifters bashing what you do with your car. You do realize that the Falken Mustang Drift Car would absolutely smash the **** out of your drag car on a drag strip even with the drift suspension setup? These aren't weak ricer cars that go sideways because they can't do anything else. The yellow bimmer is sick.

2. They are scared to do it. So it's easier to mock it.

3. They saw it originate in Japan, and some people don't know how to separate Rice from Import. So it's all just rice, and therefore, stupid. Why were the most skilled drivers hired for Dukes of Hazzard and Tokyo Drift? Because the skill it takes isn't as easily dismissed by professionals as it is by you hardcore Drag Strip guys.
