corvette had some major granny shifting going. WOOOOTTTT vrum vrum WOOOTTTTT vrum WOTTTTTT vrum vrum vrum WOTTTTTTTT - think the cars are very even though!

 

weird how the vette took the first couple of races and then the m3 took the others.

Did the M3 up the boost at any time or did the Corvette's shifting just get slower?

 

Hey those races are at the 101 and Bowers/Great america parkway exit. I live a couple miles from there. I noticed the jack n the box and Micky D's in the back round (Right by Mission college). Deanh8 shoot me a PM when you guys get 2gether again. I'd like to check out the scene.

 

That Vette sounded really good at WOT in the outside shot. Close races. Fast cars.

 

I imagine lower speed runs. The last few runs looked like he was getting into 5th which is why i suspect the M3 pulled on him.

I think from a dig it would have been all Z

 

Listen again. He hit 5th every run. Last few he was going into 6th.

M3 brake boosted and started in a higher gear the last few which seemed to work better. M3 had the "hit" every race.

 

The reason why I think the vette was losing the last races is because he was running out of bottle. The car is a nitrous car you only get so many good hits out of two bottles. Depending on the size shot and if those were 10 lber's or 15's the car might only get 3 or 4 good races especially when there one right after another and now time to let the bottles recover.They raced 6 times on that vid. He won the first three and then on the fourth he pulled ahead then got pulled the same thing that happens to me when i get a low bottle, it hits hard initially but dies off quick.

 

No bottles for the vette. Hes not tuned for them yet, these were N/A Runs.

 

Sounds like his n/a tune needs some work too..damn thing wouldnt idle. Sounded badass though and runs like a raped ape
