it has potential, and that's all that matters. as mentioned, do the whistler mod, do the wheels, and black out the tails. and of course do some work on that paint, but with a little time it will come out great.

i painted my gsxr fairings matte black, (used to be white) and have never gotten so many compliments on it.

TIP:

i did ALOT of research on paint before i did this job, and ended up going with a paint called "blitz black" from john deere, it is used by many hot rodders, because of it's durability. it's a one stage matte black, with a durable agent built into it, kind of like a clear coat. they sell it in rattle cans, or gallons to be sprayed through a gun. i opted for the cans. it turned out fine, but i don't have that much flat surface area to show splotchiness

way to live up to the f-body stereotype tho

this is how a flat black f-body should look

Thats how its done right there. The contrast between the flat and gloss black looks insanely sick. Beautiful paint job.

I never liked ls1 cars flat black. They are to curvy compared to lt1 cars. However, if you black it out completely it will look better. I do admire your guts to rattle can your though.

Finish it and post up more pics.
