What would you do? I am fairly new here and so far have had zero luck with a transaction from a member who has a 100% success rating. The first part he sent me was broken and after several emails back and forth about how to handle it, he told me he'd send me another one [exact same part except for color].
The part was for a friend of mine who knew it was coming and the new one hasn't been received yet [after 8 days]. Paypal won't do a thing except mark his account so my money is a goner.
So how long do I wait until I get pissed and send negative feedback? I sent a PM to him but he has not responded. After replying to 2 threads selling the same part and never getting an answer or pics, I might never buy from anyone else here if this doesn't work out very soon. Such a shame for a couple of people to give a whole site a bad feeling.

I hear ya, been checking this section out for the first time this past week. Read some real horror stories. I bought some tailights last year with no problems, but after reading some recent events here, I feel like its a better deal buying new from the vendors.

Wow....a whole section on scammers? I wish I had seen this section before I bought anything. Course then again, even with this many bad experiences, you really don't expect that from a 100% positive feedback rating!!
Some of the stories I've read. Un-believable crap, gives me nitemares.
Consider this, of all the transactiona that take place here. Only a very small percentage turn out badly for the Buyer.

check out peoples trader rating before buying from them. Also, watch for post counts. kinda funny when people complain about getting scammed from someone, then it turns out the person had like 8 posts on this website (LOL).
Another smart thing to do is ask for peoples information before you send them your money. if something bad happens, at least you have something to go by. better than sending pm's that will never be returned.
