I made a $1300 purschase back in Dec. and had a problem with the seller shipping the parts. I also paid thur PayPal which is connected to my checking account. When the parts did not show up as promised I just filed a claim thur PayPal and they put a hold on the sellers account until I recieved my parts.Once the parts arrived I setteled the dispute and the money was released to him.

More good news on this!
I haven't put a thousand miles on my new motor yet and have already broken a valve spring shifting at only 6700rpm. I got very lucky and didn't drop the valve even though both the inner and outer spring broke. I pulled the head and it just kissed the piston very lightly and I checked the valve, which is bent very slightly. One new valve and a new set of springs and I will be back in business.
My own fault for buying used parts of this nature. I doubt I will do it again.

I am sorry that you had to go through this. I've had a couple semi dealings with 98TA6.0 and I will only call them that because he never came through on anything.
Originally, I had a 6.0 block for sale for a long time. We both live roughly in the same area. Jacksonville, Fl is the largest land area city in the continental US. You can drive an over an hour and still be in Jacksonville. I don't remember the exact dates as this was a while ago and I have since deleted all of the PMs. I was asked the condition of the block, basic info, etc, and I replied. We worked out that he would call me when he wanted to come pick it up. Well, a week goes by and I receive no call, PM, or information. He then PMs me again saying that he had issues with his car and he would come get it again. Sure enough nothing ever comes of this.
I didn't have an issue with this because it has happened quite a few times in regards to selling things. People always say they'll send you money and they never do. The one that really got me was my next semi dealing with him. He was selling a 94 Formula that he had received from another member that lives about an hour away. I was originally interested in it when it was for sale. 98TA6.0 sent me a PM asking if I would be interested in trading the set of AFR 225 heads I owned at the time for the car.
I said I would, but I'd like to check the car out. We arranged to meet at a place roughly in the middle of where we both lived in the morning. I wasn't aware of it at the time, but we were meeting at Walmart on Black Friday. I had to work the Thursday night from 11pm to 7am that morning on Friday, go home, change, and then drive 30 minutes to meet at 8am. Sure enough, I made it there a little before 8am. I didn't have his phone number, but he had mine so I figured he would call me and we would meet. I told him I'd be driving my red 95 camaro and he'd be driving the Formula. I ended up being there for right around an hour and a half. I looked all over the parking lot, drove around, etc before I sent him a PM wondering where he was, that I was upset about wasting my time, and gas money.
I never got a response out of that one, so I sent him a PM again asking if he was still interested. I never got a reply from either, but sure enough he listed the car for sale a few days later. I typed out a response basically saying, "If someone wants to look at the car will you actually show up or make them drive 30 minutes one way, say you'll be there, not show, and then make them drive 30 minutes home like you did to me?" My response was the first or second one and he deleted the thread. He made another one and I typed out the same response after waiting a day or two so it could get going a bit. He promptly deleted that thread too.
I have resolutely decided that I will never buy, sell, trade, or give anything to this guy. He's done me wrong once, twice if you count the block, and he got you too. I just though I'd share that.
