What is the RIGHT thing to do in this situation?
So whats right...should I get my money back and he take the loss since it was his fault for such shabby shipping? Or should I take it even though it was in no way my fault? I know I sell A LOT on here and if it was reversed I would refund the buyers money and accept the responsibility for it in a second...but I guess some people dont know what the word integrity means.
If it where you what would you do? Negative feedback? File a grievance with Paypal for item not received? Post his name and the emails back and forth on here so everybody else would think twice before buying from him? Just let it go?

He doesn't know if you actually have it or not.
Just split it and call it a day.
No one likes losing money, but when it's something as negligible as $15--(1 hand of blackjack at the casino, 2 shots at the bar, a big lunch at Chipotle)--it's not worth "standing on principal" and getting frustrated or investing this much time in it. Life's too short to be dwelling on little things, I'd just eat the $15 (or $7.50 if you guys decide to split it) and move on to watch some good College Ball. This message is to both of you.
