He didnt mind taking my $$$ and had great communication when he sold it....He made a reply back after I told him about it and basically told me good luck it's not his problem and maybe it was not installed proper funny thing is stock tranny is back in and works perfect !!! Plus Jay Healy @ KraftWorks did the install so I know it was done properly ... I have tried to call and pm him and text to see if he could help me out on at least paying shipping to get fixed and no reply back after over a month...So after several text messages, phone calls, and a few PM's all with no response....I am posting here to see if he will respond !

 

Damn I was looking at that T56 and kind of bummed when I saw it was gone. Hope you get it worked out.

 

I will sell it to you with free shipping ! J/K I am going to send it to RPM probably to see what the hell is wrong with it! He still has not answered any phone calls,texts or PM's funny how he was always on for years daily now he is a freaking Ghost !

paypal....it was past the 45 days ...By the time I had it installed and was suppose to get the car back it was @ 48 days....paypal has a 45 day window I was having a Holley Dominator EFI installed @ the same time and a N2O Outlet kit that's why it took as long to get the car back ...He still has not tried to contact me again

Just out of curiosity do you do the pre inspection like putting it into all gear. Check the output and input shaft for play ect ect prior to install?

 

It isn't possible to get a dynamic test while the trans is on the floor. I bought a trans from a guy that shifted smooth and was supposed to be good to go. After I installed it, it wouldn't stay in any gear. Almost broke my wrist when I tried to get out of my driveway.

 

Did you pay with a credit card or your checking account through paypal? Paypal is garbage, a credit card is much better and you might have more than 45 days.

I'm surprised he didn't come here and try to tell his side of the story. Guilty? Probably.

 

I linked this into his sell thread in an effort to get an answer. I want those LCA's he's got, but I'm not going to buy anything until he explains this.

His response was to ignore my posts (including a VERY reasonable offer on his LCA's, which he has priced higher than new from an authorized retailer where you get a warranty) and bump his thread again.

 

Please refrain from posting links to this thread in classified ads belonging to the user in question. There is no clear evidence of scamming but rather a legitimate dispute between two parties, both of whom are long time members with significantly positive feedback.

It appears this situation may need to be sorted out via legal action, so understand that you might not get both sides of the story in public at this time. It's understandable if someone who is interested in doing business with either party involved, and has read this thread, wanted to hear more from the respective party.
