Please avoid selling to these two people. I had Wesley Daniels send me money on Friday about 5:50pm. Asked me to ship a LS3 manifold Saturday. I said I could. Saturday I was out shopping and in and out with my high school son for homecoming this weekend. And one stop home I forgot to take my phone with me. During this short time. Wesley texted me and asked if I was able to ship the intake at 3:34pm on Saturday afternoon. Very next day. I didn’t have my phone. So I couldn’t reply. Then at 3:50pm 16 minutes later he accused me of scamming him and stealing his money. Also during this time his friend on here Damian sent me a pm telling me I better ship asafp for I’ll never be able to log on here. I got home with my son shopping. A little before 4:30. I grabbed my phone to get Wesley address and found out in that short amount of time the very next day I was banned. I couldn’t log on. So he was able to ban me. A member of almost 20 years with over 2000 posts and itrader of over 80. In less than 24 hours of taking his money. I returned his money to him. All in less than 24 hours. I was afraid to put this thread on here out of fear of being banned again. Seems like you can get banned for the wind blowing. But I would avoid these two at all cost.

I did some investigating on this. I think there was a misunderstanding and overreaction based on the fact that multiple scammers had previously signed up using several screen names very similar to the OP (a scam which has become very common in recent years), so when viewing the control panel it appears that this might be a scammer trying to return by using multiple accounts. Clearly that ended up not being the case, which is why the IB staff reversed the ban, but I think that was the source of the overreaction to the small delay in shipping.

 

But you clearly have to give someone a realistic time frame for shipping and responding back. And clearly these two shouldn’t be purchasing things from people online. These two went on to degrading my character and slander me.

 

Wow. the admin really booted this one. What a crappy thing to do apparently without an investigation. and calling him and *******. not cool.

 

Agreed, definitely not professional of an LS1Tech Moderator*. Disappointing to say the least but happy to see that an Administrator investigated and corrected the issue.*

 

Just an FYI:

It wasn't an Admin that banned him, it was a moderator and the account was reinstated upon investigation as can be seen.
