I'm guessing he faked his own death.

There are comments in his "guestbook" so It looks pretty legit.

Hopefully he offed himself.

Yeah I think he did fake his death one time. I am going to dig a little deeper. In the end he got his.

IIRC there were a couple guys in Flower Mound that knew him, at least on LS2.

I'll see if either one of them knows anything.....

It is possible that the death thing is legit, and this was a friend/relative instead of him...

HahaFU was posting on May 10. The obituary says Chad died on May 2 and the funeral was held on May 5.

I guess it is true that nobody will get anything if he's dead, so....

just ran across this on the 600RR.net forum

I don’t know if you have heard yet or not. Chad Walden died in a motorcycle accident last week. We are currently obtaining the documentation surrounding the death. Any open criminal cases will be cleared, as there is no suspect to prosecute.

Another post there says
Any of you that are owed money by this guy need to contact a lawyer now that he is dead. You will need to file a suit or claim against his estate, if it is worth that to you.

This guy took me $875. I doubt anything happened to this guy. Hell when he sold me tranny he said his name was jeff easler. If I'm wrong...well he got what he deserved...I talked to so many people where were ripped off by this guy, one for over 3k. This wasn't play money for a lot of us, and took a long time to come up with. He manipulated and used us. I was ready to go down there myself and get my money back one way or another...

Oh yea, and way to go authorities . Gotta love the criminal justice system.

Has anybody had any success getting any money back from this guy? I could use that $4k, even though it's been almost a year.

Or, in case he's dead, any money back from his estate. Whichever.
