hmmm, the car looks very clean in those pics. Not nearly the piece of **** that NHRA is describing. Sounds like someone didn't get the deal they wanted and is crying about it now.

I purchased all four of my current Camaros out of town. Made the deals before even seeing the cars in person. So far, no bad apples!

If he spent $600 on a plane ticket to come down there and the car was in good condition he would've bought it. I wouldn't be comfortable buying this without coming and looking at it and judging by NHRA's experience, i'd be hard pressed to even take a chance and fly down there.

Just my .02

He still did offer to buy..he kept on trying to get me to lower the price and lower the price...I absolutely refused...No way in hell would I let this car go for less than 12,500..Im guessing he figured I would lower the price since he flew down here....didnt work..Like I said...I wouldnt sell it to him for 15k with that attitude

I'm not going to get completely involved in this thread, But i do know NHRA, and I would have a very hard time believing this car is in any condition except for what he said it was. This will be my last post in this, I am not trying to start a flame war or get involved. Good luck selling the car, I'm sorry he wasnt impressed with it.

I bought a one way plane ticket to Tampa to buy a car off this board and it turned out wonderfully. I also drove up into Kentucky to buy my NBM WS6 from a girl off this board. It turned out great too. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another car off here if the seller is willing to furnish the pics I want to see.

I flew (one way) to FL to buy a car that looked beautiful in all the pictures I was sent. Perfect paint, perfect body, perfect interior etc.. I get there, and the thing looked like it had been through a whole season of Dukes of Hazard shooting. He even sent me a picture of the odometer reading 42000 miles. When I got there, the OD read 112000 and some change. The guy sent me pictures from when he bought the car, but told me they were brand new pictures. Hell, the thing wouldn't even start! What really gets me is do these kind of people really think you're just not going to notice anything?

I know and race with NHRA too, and he's really a straightforward person. There must be a disconnect here regarding the definition of nice. His pewter formula is very nice.

I had a similar thing happen to me Clipper. I drove 9 hours one way to pick up a '68 camaro. Talked to the guy for a week before hand. Had pictures, parts lists, etc... I get there, and it's sitting in his back yard. There was no interior, and you could see into the trunk w/ the lid closed. Then he pops the info on me that they have a problem with the title. It's supposed to be in this guys name, but that got messed up, and now they're trying to bla bla bla bla....

I was like WTF?? Do you have any idea how long I've been on the road to see this pile of ? Then he get's all mad and tells me to leave, and I don't "deserve" a great car like that! LMAO What an ***.

Sure the car looks fine far away, but I can assure you that my dad would have purchased that car if it was in the condition that it was described. As for the whole deal about him wanting it for 11k or even less, that is a bunch of bull sh*t. My dad went down there with a 12K cashiers check to hand to him. What was he going to do ask for a 1000 back in change? Futhermore after the seller's post gets canceled on ls1tech he calls me at 12pm when I am out and he is talking in a baby's voice crying and harrassing me. He tried to call from a restricted number but by talking to him he let me know who he was by crying about how we didn't buy the car. So believe what you want but this guy is putting up a front. The next day we bought a 2002 hard top z28 for 14.4K so money is not the problem. Be careful if you go and look at the car and you don't like what you see. You may get a baby crying on the other line a couple hours later. This is my one and only post on this topic.

Not to get into this, but in your first couple of pics, the hood looks repainted. Get that car under some quality flourescent lights at night, and get a half-way decent camera if you wanna prove anything.hose fuzzy pics of the car after it went through a car wash do nothing for me.

P.S.-orange peel is something that SHOULD be there from the factory. That is, unless someone has done something to the paint.
